Excellent service and hospitality. The Breakfast Buffet had a lot of variety and the staff is super friendly. Reception and front desk staff are extremely helpful and could provide some excellent recommendation on where to spend your evening in Florence. Highly recommend!

The room is nice, not so spacious for the third people though. Staff is super nice and breakfast is with many choices. Walk to the Church in 3 mins and basically close to the Center. We walked from train station with luggage in about 15mins, road condition is bad.

Fomos super bem recebidos no check-in, mais cedo do que o horário previsto, com direito a um voucher de cocktail de boas vindas. O quarto é espaçoso e confortável. Cama ótima, com travesseiros excelentes e de tipos e alturas diferentes, armário amplo e boa iluminação natural. O banheiro é realmente grande, com banheira de hidromassagem e bidê, espelho grande, bem iluminado. No entanto, o box do banheiro é muito pequeno, ainda mais pensando no tamanho do banheiro como um todo. Não custava nada ter aumentado o espaço do chuveiro em uns 10cm. Já faria toda a diferença. Além disso, a porta do box estava desregulada e não fechava direito, molhando todo o chão do banheiro. Mesmo assim, muito bom com secador de toalhas, de cabelo e espelho de maquiagem para as mulheres. O café da manhã era farto, variado, com opções de comidas e cafés a la carte, além do buffet. Excelente hotel, com ótimo custo-benefício.

Very quiet despite Perfect location minute from Duomo. Great bathroom with nice shower. Comfortable bed. Room could be a little bigger. Breakfast had great selection. Welcome drink and appetizers nice touch.

Love this hotel. We always stay here when in Florence. Great hotel base to discover and explore Florence. The hotel rooms and surrounding areas are spotless and the cleaning and reception staff are super friendly.

Was kinda skeptical about what everyone said about the breakfast in their reviews, but it’s true, best hotel breakfast we’ve had anywhere! Also loved how they stocked the mini fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks! Great location and clean and lovely!

Hotel Spadai was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Florence and Italy overall. Staff was welcoming, friendly and kind. We stayed in a Comfort Double Room and it was plenty of space for the two of us. Amenities were first class all around - we enjoyed a delightful spread for breakfast each morning and amazing drinks and included appetizers during Happy Hour each night. Location was perfect - within walking distance of Duomo and so many restaurants and shops. Hotel was very close to train station. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Spadai again on any future trip to Florence and were very sad to leave.

The room was amazing as always. The breakfast wasnt as good as previous visits - the fruit was a bit lacking and this time there was no peppermint tea(which is a small thing). Everything else was amazing.

Positives: The hotel was clean. Breakfast suited 3 of the 4 members of our family. Negatives: The experience was disappointing. The front desk staff was consistently brusque, and the property itself has some awkward layout quirks. The major issue was a prolonged power outage. We returned to the hotel hours after it began and had not been notified in advance. At that point, we were told conditions were unsafe and that we needed to find alternative accommodations. The hotel did not assist with this process in any meaningful way. We had to navigate completely dark hallways with our children, gather our belongings from rooms without power, and carry luggage down stairs multiple flights in the dark to exit the building. Throughout this, staff focused primarily on payment rather than guest safety or support. Communication was inconsistent, and other arriving guests appeared equally confused. Despite the situation, staff pressed for city tax payment before we could leave and later contacted us at our new hotel to pursue immediate payment. The overall handling of the situation felt disorganized and lacking in basic guest care and courtesy. Overall: If everything goes smoothly, this hotel may be fine. But when something goes wrong, the support and responsiveness fall short.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Spadai! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Duomo and within walking distance to everything Florence has to offer. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight for me was the breakfast—it was truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen, with an endless selection of pastries. On our first night, they even provided a turndown service with mints on the pillows. For our early return flight, the hotel arranged a taxi for us at 4 a.m. and even had a to-go breakfast bag ready at the front desk. I highly recommend Hotel Spadai—if you’re visiting Florence, you will not be disappointed!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Spadai in Florence. The location is perfect—just steps from the Duomo, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and spotlessly clean, with very comfortable rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. The staff were exceptional warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. If you’re visiting Florence, I would highly recommend Hotel Spadai. We would definitely stay here again! We booked the smallest room with no breakfast. The room size is very generous!!

All the staff was incredible, especially the breakfast employees and bar staff. Everything was perfect and every detail was considered. I would highly recommend this to anybody, especially Americans visiting
