Room was great and cleaned daily, buffets had good selection, getting the tickets to reserve à la carte restaurants helped ensure it was possible to get reservations, pool activities were very fun, beach was scenic and well maintained.

Barcelo was so much more than we could've expected! We came for our honeymoon and were truly blown away by the beauty of the property, the activities they constantly had going, how kind and helpful the staff was, everywhere you look someone is cleaning, the food was amazing and plentiful. I could go on for days on how amazing this property was. We were a premium level guest with the ability to explore the connecting resorts and all were so beautiful! We loved it so much we extended our stay 2 more nights. No regrets! We hope to be back same time next year!

Beautiful beach and pools but need more chairs around the bigger pools.
Rooms were not good. No sound proofing and could hear everything in the hallway and bathroom. Beds were not comfortable. Weird noises and banging from the ceiling vents that woke us up every hour. Buffets were just ok. La carts were good. Tokyo was amazing. Enjoyed strikers at night for sure.

Barcelo was so much more than we could've expected! People were very friendly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and the drinks are good. The buffett was basically the same food every day. Decent but not much vegetarian options. The restaurants were good.

All the nice restaurants you book were fully booked but the manager Carlos was very accommodating and booked us 5 restaurants for our six night stay. We have a few small issues that got taken care of. We were 8 and 2 of us booked 4 each and paid the same but 4 were premium and 4 were not which was strange. The room are clean but very dated. Good trip over all - the resort is very well looked after and clean

There were a lot of rocks on the beach, no food menu, people put their towels on the lounge chairs at 7:30 am and coming back couple hours later
On the other hand, selection of food was very good, servers were available most of the time
Few good concerts at night
In the room the bed was very comfortable and you have everything you need, iron with board, hairdryer, etc

The rooms were clean and the grounds were nicely kept. The staff were very pleasant. I thought the gym and spa were excellent. If there is any shortcoming, I’d say the rooms were a bit dated looking, but I didn’t care because the beds were great, cold beer in the fridge and everything function perfectly. Some staff were great and helpful but others just visit once and left you alone. The drinks could be better like the sodas were most of the time stale. Food was great lots of options. I wish they had an activity board for adults so they could know what’s happening throughout the day. Overall a good nice relaxing stay.

Zared Maldonado a groups and conventions coordinator was professional and helpful with a private event that we had! I would highly recommend this resort!!!

The rooms were great. Staff was wonderful. The grounds were super clean. Even though it's huge it's easy to navigate. My complaints are the buffets were terrible. Cold food and the same everyday. And booking ala carts were a pain. The ala carts were excellent just harder than it needed to be to book. At other resorts we booked all week after we checked in. Here it was only 2 days at a time.
