Stayed 2X at beginning and end of a river cruise. 1st time was very good to excellent. 2nd time the "cooling unit" (not A/C) had leaked and the entire floor was wet. The hotel moved us to another room but it was It was a major undertaking, moving bags, getting new room keys, etc. Staff was not helpful in that they had to do it "their way" regardless of the inconvenience to the customer. We might stay again, depending.

The room looks way smaller than the images. Everything is very tiny and next to each other. And the room service only used to fix the bed. I used a cup of the first day till the fourth day they didnt change the cup. But the stuff were really nice and helpful

Very helpful staff happy to help overseas travellers and recommend places to go. Excellent room with alot of space and comfortable beds. Very close to everything shops canal and train station

⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ La ubicación del Hotel Avenue es excelente, muy cerca de Amsterdam Centraal y de las principales atracciones. Lamentablemente, eso fue lo mejor de nuestra estancia. La habitación era extremadamente pequeña y el baño estaba en malas condiciones. Al llegar encontramos cabellos en el piso y la ducha presentaba moho o suciedad acumulada en la silicona. Esa misma noche descubrimos que el desagüe estaba obstruido y, cada vez que nos duchábamos, el baño se inundaba, obligándonos a caminar sobre el agua para poder usar el inodoro. Quiero destacar que el personal de recepción del día fue muy amable. Como ya no había personal de limpieza, subieron ellos mismos a intentar limpiar el baño, aunque, por supuesto, no pudieron resolver el problema por completo. En cambio, el gerente de la noche fue poco receptivo y la única solución inmediata fue darnos toallas para que nosotros mismos secáramos el piso. Aunque nos ofrecieron cambiar de habitación al día siguiente y Hotels.com nos otorgó una compensación de US$50, ya habíamos perdido la confianza en el hotel y decidimos abandonar nuestra estancia y trasladarnos a otro hotel. Una buena ubicación nunca debe compensar una limpieza deficiente, un baño inundado y una gestión inadecuada de un problema tan evidente. Lamentablemente, no volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí.

Our family stayed at Hotel Avenue Amsterdam from June 16–19, and unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. First, we were assigned a room on the first floor that felt more like a basement. To enter the room, we had to go down a set of stairs. It was extremely noisy — we could hear people walking and talking outside, making it very difficult to sleep. After we complained, the hotel moved us to a room on the third floor, but that room was even worse. It had two single beds downstairs and three single beds in a loft area upstairs. The loft beds were directly under the roof with very little headroom, making it feel cramped, stuffy, and unbearably hot. The most serious issue happened when one of our AirPods disappeared from our room. We used the tracking feature and were able to locate it at a different building. We reported this to the front desk and showed them the address where the AirPod was located. We asked them to investigate whether a staff member who cleaned our room might have taken it. However, they refused to help and claimed they did not have employee address information, which seemed very hard to believe. I am sharing this experience so other travelers can make an informed decision. We experienced poor room conditions, excessive noise, and a lack of support regarding a missing personal item. Please be cautious if you choose to stay at this hotel.

A propriedade está muito bem localizada e o quarto é confortável

El hotel esta limpio. el baño de la entrada muy por debajo de lo que debiera ser un baño para los huespedes. Un solo lugar y no muy limpio. Me toco un cuarto que daba a la calle y se escuchaba todo desde la campana del tren , conversaciones de la gente gritos, carros. Muy mal lugar para descansar. El baño de la habitacion tiene una ventana que da a la calle por lo que parcialmente obstruye la vista al bañarse por lo que siente uno que su privacidad esta expuesta y eso no esta bien. Fueron amables en recibir maletas y luego para recogerlas. El desayuno aceptable pero nada del otro mundo la fruta muy mala. pero los hotcakes buenos. No me quedaria otra vez ahi solo por el hecho de que NO dormi con tanto ruido. Quiza otro cuarto si. Tamaño de la habitacion de acuerdo a lo que prometen pero si es pequeño

Ridiculous small room with very low ceiling, very thin walls. No coffee maker in the room. The toilet seat was too small, inappropriate for the size of the toilet, one of the light of the bathroom mirror was out and the mirror was bad on the sides. The TV was very small even for our tiny room. On the plus side, the location is excellent, staff was useful and the breakfast was good. This is a 4 star hotel that we felt that two stars would be appropriate, three would be a stretch, definitely not a 4 star.

Great central Location. Works really well for a short break. Breakfast was good enough (not fabulous but more than adequate). Surprisingly , pleasantly no street noise overnight bearing in mind city centre location.

Breakfast was great. No need for lunch. Room was smallish, which is common for hotels in the city center. Tram stop right in front. Close to train station.

Bien situé, 10 min de la gare centrale. Hôtel sympa, bon service, breakfast impeccable. A recommander pour quelques jours.
