The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the handwritten welcome post card and treat. The building is very Amsterdam as it’s a little lopsided in the room but felt authentic. Would recommend

Stayed in a bedroom for 4 people. Room was lovely and quiet with brilliant air con, it was 30 degrees when we visited so very welcome. Hotel in an ideal location 5 minute walk from central station and 5 minutes the other way from Dam Square. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was yummy. Would absolutely recommend

The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful. The location can’t be beat. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go and if we couldn’t walk the tram stopped right outside the hotel.

Small room. Not even room for a chair. Basically windowless, no view, but I could crack it open for a tiny breeze.
It was clean -
Staff were helpful.
Location was excellent,
Breakfast was decent, healthy, but boring.

O quarto era beeem apertado, nós já sabíamos, mas fica a dica pra quem tem bebê que não funciona. Dava pra ouvir muito os quartos ao lado, acústica bem ruim. Limpeza bem superficial, os detalhes estavam sujos, exemplo: Box um pouco com mofo. Privada também um pouco suja dentro. Embaixo da cama MUITO pó. Vale pela localização apenas. Mas só isso. Se busca conforto, não é o local. Colchão ruim também.

Location was good. Staff was courteous. Rooms were a bit dingy, not dirty just dingy. Shower pressure was great but there was no shower base to keep the water in. The bathroom floor was constantly soaked. We had to use our towels to dry the floor after every shower. Very small room with zero insulation in the walls. I'll say no more!

The room was classed as a deluxe room with king bed. There was nothing deluxe about it. It was very basic. We couldn’t get the heating unit to work, but thankfully didn’t need it. The phone in the room didn’t work either. There was no way to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor. The walls were bare,not so much as a picture on the wall.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. The biggest reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the rooms are pretty small and the parking is not ideal. You have to go outside (no matter the weather) and walk past the police station and around the corner to get to the parking garage. When we were there the elevator in the garage was out of order, so we were carrying our luggage up & down a couple flights of stairs. (I realize this should be a temporary condition.)

Das Pesonal war einigermassen nett. Das Frühstück war nicht wirklich besonders, aber frisch. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Pillen lagen unterm Bett vom Vorgänger und sehr viel Staub. Ein Teil der Vorhänge fehlten, sodass man nicht wirklich abdunkeln konnte und somit die Strassenlaternen ins Gesicht schienen. Die Liste wäre noch länger, aber die Lust dazu fehlt mir. Im Grossen und Ganzen, ist nur die Lage wirklich positiv.

This is a quirky hotel in the heart of the city. It is close to Central Station and within easy walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s treasures. My solo room was modern and well maintained. The hotel staff members are friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

The room was comfortable and while the bathroom was small it was quite functional. Only complaint is that we expected a coffee maker that we saw in pictures when booking, but there was just a kettle for tea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have the breakfast so can’t comment. The location of the hotel is perfect for access to different activities and only 5 minute walk to Centraal Station.
