Our stay in Madrid was absolutely wonderful, and Hotel Preciados played a huge part in that experience. From the moment we arrived, the service and attention to detail were exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, making it easy to relax after long days of exploring the city. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Madrid and within walking distance to everything we wanted to see.
At check-in, the staff recommended the hotel’s restaurant, Café Varela, and we’re so glad they did. My husband and I dined there during the last two days of our stay, and it was the best food and service we experienced during our trip. Every dish was delicious, and the service was just as outstanding as the hotel itself.
I truly don’t have enough words to describe how incredible the service was. I loved everything about our stay and would give this hotel more than five stars. I’ve already referred a family who will be traveling to Madrid in August because I know they will have an amazing experience as well.
We will definitely return!

The location is convenient and it was clean but there were several issues. The biggest issue is that the shower did not get hot at all, it was under a hundred degrees and low pressure. The room was also smaller than expected since the bathroom was kind of weirdly big (strange layout). The hotels.com listing said my room would have a jetted bathtub but it didn't have any bathtub. The TV was like ten years old and the speakers were really bad quality. Hotel breakfast was just OK and it was kind of a bummer that it wasn't free. If you're just crashing for a night, this will be fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here.
