We were misled by the good reviews until we actually stayed there for several days . It totally spoilt our holidays . The frontline staff are impolite , unprofessional & not helpful at all , which we would not expect in a 4 star hotel . The rooms are small , not user friendly with NO storage space at all ( not even a small drawer) . Only clothes rack is found in the room , no wardrobe ( not expected in a 4* hotel ) The worst thing is the bathroom ! The floor is really slippery , no safety handle installed , no anti-slip bath mat ! There is no privacy in the bathroom ( not as stated in their website .. private bathroom ! ) I literally have to step out the shower room naked to dress up in front of my roommate ! ! It's alight if you're couples ! The house keeping is not up to standard , the dustbins were left dismantled after room cleaning . The electric kettle is leaky , which is very dangerous . There is only 1 chair for 2 people to use , unacceptable in a 4 * hotel . We were only given 2 bottles of water on the 1st day , and was told that water was only provided for 1 day, unlike what they stated in their website ! ! Another amazing issue is tissue ... each room was provided with 4 pieces ( a small pack containing 4 pieces ) of face tissue for 2 people per day ! ! This was my 1st encounter in a 4* hotel ! I would never rate this hotel as 4* , 3 star is their max It's so disappointing to find such standard in this new hotel under chain management ! !

Lovely hotel and great staff. Room was lovely and all the information I needed was there. It would have been great if the bar offered more food options other than olives to snack on while having a drink. Easy walk to get some lovely food options close by. Pool was shallower than expected, but great for a dip to cool off in the afternoons.

Very disappointing stay. This hotel is, at best, a 3-star property. The rooms are not practical, the elevators are slow and poorly maintained, and the hallways sometimes have an unpleasant smell. The staff were inconsistent some were friendly and helpful, while others were rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to assist. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The quality and selection were poor and comparable to what you would expect from much cheaper, lower-rated hotels. Breakfast staff were very helpful, friendly and good! The gym was also a letdown. It is very small, and if you do any strength training, you’ll find there are hardly any machines or equipment to work with. The rooftop has only 6 sun beds and the pool is very small and shallow. Overall, this hotel falls well short of the standard it claims to offer, and I would not stay here again.

Our stay was only two days, but the room and all common spaces were very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was a lot of space in our room. The terrace and rooftop bar are great spaces to relax and enjoy time with friends or family. It has a great location, three different metro stations within only a few blocks. The staff was awesome all the way around! They were particularly helpful upon check because we have several bags they held in a secure place for us until our check-in time arrived. While we waited, we went to one of the great food places nearby. Also very nearby are a few of the amazing Gaudi masterpieces that are not to be missed. Thanks very much to the staff for the very comfortable stay after being away from home for almost two weeks!

Rough start with no AC or fridge working and had to pack up and change rooms but front desk were very helpful in getting us a new room. Great location to the attractions

A comfortable hotel in a convenient location. My girlfriend and I stayed here for nine nights and had very few complaints. The rooms were clean, the staff was accommodating, and the air conditioning was cool and reliable. The hotel’s location in Eixample meant that we enjoyed the Gothic Quarter and the waterfront all without being more than a 30-minute walk from our room. The rooftop was a definite highlight of our stay. The pool was somewhat small, but decently sized in proportion to the number of guests. It was a great place to spend a slow morning or wind down the night looking out over the city. Two disclaimers for prospective guests: don’t get the breakfast, and don’t bother with a balcony. Buffet breakfast costs €18 per person, and is far below the quality you would imagine from a 4-star hotel. As for the balcony, there’s no point in having one unless you’re on the fifth or sixth floors. Save yourself the money and spend it on activities elsewhere in Barcelona.

Can’t beat the great location. The room is on the smaller side but has everything you’d need for a pleasant stay. Annnnnd Air con! Walkable to many great attractions and restaurants. Rooftop bar is another great spot for a delicious cava sangria.

We had 2 rooms. On the last night the AC went out in the rooms. We went down stairs and were told that they were being worked on. 2 hours went by and we were still burning up. Called the front desk and they assured it was being worked on. This was our last night in Spain with a 9AM flight. Finally around 2AM we were so hot that we just decided to leave. We went to the airport 7 hours early to escape the heat of our rooms. When I told the staff up front they said that they thought the ac had been fixed. However. They never called nor actually came to our rooms. Would not recommend this hotel.
