It was under the biggest storm that hit Hanoi in the last 30 years that we checked in the Anatole Hotel. The city was closed down. There wasn’t much to do. Luckily the attentive service provided by the front desk staff made our stay quite enjoyable. They even texted us to make sure we didn’t encounter any problems going out in the storm.

Good location, nice staff, nice breakfast, nice room. It was my birthday on the second night of my stay. The staff surprised me with a sliced of cake in my room. How nice were they!

Staff was amazing, very helpful and always went above and beyond! They helped us book our airport ride, helped us with luggage, open doors every-time we went in and out, probably best hotel service we had in Asia out of the 11 hotels we stayed at. Hotel was beautiful, lobby always had AC blasted, rooftop bar and pool was very nice, zero complaints! Great location, steps to everything including some must try spots like Pho 10. Lots of cafes, shops and food spots along the street. Most cab rides are 5-10 mins if needed and cost about 30k dong, roughly $1.50 Canadian. We did not make it to breakfast so cannot comment.

Extremely attentive staff! They made us feel welcomed and valued. Kenny, our concierge tried to go above and beyond to make us comfortable. Breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. Their extensive fresh fruit bar was a delight. Complementary afternoon tea was lovely. It was set up in the roof top pool area and we were able to enjoy the view as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this property.

We have just returned from an amazing 7 night stay at the Anatole Hotel Hanoi. Even before we arrived we were impressed by the quick and thorough responses to our questions and assistance in booking day tours outside of Hanoi. Clara was outstanding in making tour suggestions and reservations for us as well as arranging private transportation to and from the Hanoi airport. The staff was consistently polite and friendly, always asking if we needed anything. Whenever we walked by the front desk, we were always greeted by name. That never would have happened at a Western brand hotel! Every morning at breakfast we were greeted and asked how we were enjoying Hanoi and what our plans were for the day. Just remarkable personable service! The hotel is conveniently located for tourist attractions. Less than a 10 minute walk to get to the Old Quarter or the water puppet theater or Ho Hoan Kiem lake where you could catch the Hop On / Hop Off bus and other tours. It is in a vibrant part of the city with restaurants and stores everywhere. We walked throughout the area from morning to night and always felt safe. By the way, we are in our mid-60's (but still travel as if we were much younger)! We could go on and on about how exceptional the Anatole Hotel Hanoi is but what really impressed us and sets it apart is the staff. We even received hugs when we checked out to head home. We highly recommend the Anatole Hotel Hanoi for an outstanding stay in Hanoi.

It was an amazing stay at the Anatole Hotel Hanoi! I had some reservation issues that I made on my end but the staff were reallly helpful and accommodating to get me the upgrade, extend my stay and have an extra bed. The breakfast is phenomenal, you do not want to miss. I wish I could give this place 20/10! I initially booked this for the really nice lobby and because of Anatole (can I clean here) YouTuber but I am glad I did!

The rooms are exceptionally clean, breakfast varied and very good, staff friendly and informative. Air conditioning worked well. Very happy with our two stays at this Hotel that is in a good position in the Old Quarter

This hotel had the best breakfast of our trip. The offerings were of high quality and everything we tried was delicious. The only downside of this hotel is the shower is over a bath with quite a high step so if you have mobility issues it may not be so good for you. Otherwise the hotel is well located for exploring the old quarter. Make use of the Michelin food guide to locate the banh mi, bun cha and pho locations just down the road which are so popular they had queued (also helps you spot them). Pool at hotel is nice and we were given a voucher for a free drink at the roof top bar (beer for him and wine for me) which was a nice touch. Would stay here again

Helt igennem fedt hotel med godt værelse. Super venligt personale, dejlig rooftop bar og pool. Eneste minus er, at der ikke er brusefaciliteter ved pool og ingen derfor skylles, ret ulækkert. Ellers et skønt hotel beliggende i godt område som kan anbefales.
