Have always wanted to stay here and my two night stay did not disappoint.
The staff are so helpful and friendly even hunting down needle and thread when a button came off my jacket.
I love the decor around the hotel especially the china on the dresser outside my room.
Couple of minor gripes. The curtains in my room had two large stains on them which were a bit off-putting and I was surprised there was no bottled water or tissues in the rooms.
Breakfast was really nice and there was a good choice.
The owners should be really proud of their staff because they all very obviously care about what they do.

This hotel is one of a kind - the history of the family business is wonderful and the 4th generation is continuing to invest in the hotel and continue to provide the 5* customer service that the Empire is famous for. They make you feel important and I do believe they value every customer. All the staff are so good at what they do. We Had a wonderful stay again and always look forward to staying here. The pool is lovely, the food exceptional, the service exemplary and the location perfect. We cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. It is the best in town and across the country in our opinion. Thanks for a wonderful stay and thanks to Kamil for taking our bags to the car and even helping to load them into the boot for us. This says it all about the hotel really; nothing too much trouble. See you again soon.

A beautiful hotel all staff have excellent customer service great facilities and rooms if I could make one improvement suggestion it would be to look at a jacuzzi outside upstairs but otherwise everything was perfect and thank you to all staff with congratulations for being open for 80 years.

Had a midweek two night stay here. Helpful friendly staff. The rooms were serviced each day.
Good choices for breakfast with efficient service. We had the evening dinner once which was decent value and although advertised as table d’hote had some good choices on there, with attentive servers.
We used the spa/pool both days and it a quiet calm space, this can be found under the hotel reached by a spiral staircase(handrails and non slip surfaces).
Comfortable lounge/bar area for relaxing or reading.
The demographic of the clients when we stayed was mainly retired people.

The hotel.is really nice - the staff friendly, welcoming and attentive and the decor traditional and really well-kept. Room was clean with loads of wardrobe space and fridge, bed comfy and the breakfast (included) was very good. There seemed to be families of several generations who were repeat visitors and treated by the staff like friends rather than guests.
The only reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of the pool and spa area. The changing area isn't near, nor does it have direct access to the pool, the pool was quite cold and the button to activate the whirlpool is nowhere near the whirlpool. You also have to activate the sauna and it took so long to warm up we couldn't use it. The steam room however, was very good.
Would I stay again?? If it was a bit less money (it was one of the most expensive hotels in Llandudno), without the pool and spa facilities, then yes.

Only fault was side panel on bath needed repairing or replacing, was peeling and looked very tatty it let the bathroom down. Other than that no complaints. Friendly helpful staff, good food, nice indoor swimming pool + spa. Second time we've stayed.

Our second visit to The Empire Hotel & Spa and it was as wonderful as ever! We had another lovely warm welcome and another beautiful room. Everything was perfect and made for a lovely relaxing break, swimming in the pool every day (sometimes twice!), enjoying a fabulous breakfast (the porridge is heavenly) and just everything about the place - we'll be back again next year or sooner if we can. Big thank you to all the lovely staff.

A pleasant stay, with easy access to Llandudno town and beach.
The pool area was nice, but it was a pity that the jacuzzi area was connected to the swimming pool and consequently cooler than normal.
