The Adge was perfect for our one-night stay, but we probably wouldn't have enjoyed a long stay. The Good: Price was very competitive for the area, very clean, fun decor, spacious room, comfortable bed, great lighting in all areas of room; good electrical outlet locations, lots of surfaces to set luggage on; the 2 younger desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Less Good: automated text to me implied help would be on stand-by, but when I texted to ask about getting ice, I never heard a word back - seems like something a hotel should make available or at least answer; room key inserted by door starts electricity, which means our room was so hot when we arrived & took a while to cool off, & had to do over; made a point to reserve balcony room, but there was nothing out there to sit on!!!!; another Sydney hotel provided an electric converter in the room, but none here; only 1 of 2 elevators to our section seemed to be working; the trash can in the bathroom was 8" diameter with a foot pedal - not at all useful in the bathroom.

Helpful staff and a comfortable room. Great bed & good pillows. Bathroom was quite small, and the room showed a little wear but was basically clean. Walkable for Sydney area, and quite close to many options for public transportation, restaurants, shopes, etc.

Cool hotel and location was fantastic. The cafe in the lobby was very good, and the staff working were friendly and provided excellent service. Only downside was the bed was quite uncomfortable for our taste.

My room was spacious- as was the great and comfortable bed - it was well fitted out, maintained and very clean. All the staff on every interaction were helpful and effective.
The hotel is sufficiently away from the centre for quietness. But sufficiently close to enable easy walking access. Public transport is close by, but as a walker/explorer I did t use it much

A fantastic location. The staff were friendly. Our room was an internal room without windows, so it would be worth confirming a room before making a booking. The room was a bit grubby, particularly the carpet with the bright colours highlighting all of the stains on the carpet. But the location trumps these downsides.

Courteous staff, clean room , everything we needed ! close to bus stop, cafes, grocery stores , easy walk to Hyde Park and World Square Shopping Mall ! One bedroom was like having your own small apt ,very quiet and comfortable ! Coffeee shop and great restaurant on premises !
Very happy we chose Surrey Hills location !
