For cheap budget accomodation, Ibis Fawkner is perfectly fine. Stayed there a few times. Convenient train access to the city. Rooms are clean, although you may notice a loose tap or other minor maintenance issue. The 24 hour KMart nearby is great to have. The only negative is highway facing rooms can be a little noisy at night from hoons doing burnouts on Sunday mornings, but that's hardly Ibis' fault.

Unable to stay... I'm trying to get a refund... I had a specialist appointment at hospital, doctor cancelled the appointment due to an emergency on his side.. I have rang you on 2 occasions speaking with Mark and Solomon fir a refund. No one got back to me.. very poor public relations... shall never go through expedia again ir recommend you to anyone... I dont have $138 to throw away..

Would not recommend this property at all. Very poorly maintained, unresponsive and ill mannered staff, cleanliness is very poor. The beds, room and toilet are very uncomfortable This is not ibis standard. We have stayed ibis budget in syd and this one does not meet the standards. Avoid this place if you can.
Would not suggest to stay with family at all.
