The room itself was a four out of five. Onsite parking, and not too expensive. Nice room. Nice enough lobby and hall. Checkin left a lot to be desired. No explanation of anything hotel or area regarded. Still unsure why they require a bank card when the minibar is non existent, and room service is pre-paid. The attendant just handed a pen and paper to me without saying much at all. The pillows in the room were the worst I have seen. And the towels looked ten years old. There was also a strange issue with the temperature, where even with the AC on high, the room never heated up by more than a degree or two. Overall, good hotel, but lacklustre staff.

Very clean room . Staff where excellent in there customer service and accommodating. Air conditioning great , I like to keep cool . I would recommend putting a bottle of water or two in the rooms complimentary and some biscuits to have with a coffee . I would highly recommend the Mantra to everyone .

The room was clean enough to eat off the floor. Big thanks to the food and beverage manager and his staff as well as to the front desk personnel. All were simply outstanding!

I had a pleasant stay at Mantra Melbourne Epping. The room was nice and clean, and the shower was spacious. The location is convenient, with most places I wanted to visit within a 30-40 minutes drive. The staff were friendly and courteous, which made the stay even better.

Room was clean and modern. Very comfortable.

Cloud of smokers to walk through at check in was a poor welcome. Person on the desk was on a speaker phone call unrelated to hotel duties. Didn’t hang up or silence the call. Rushed through the check in and was quickly back to giggling on the phone call. This person was unfocused and appeared bitter to be doing the job. Fake smile and unfriendly. Not ideal for hotel front of house.
