Exceptional experience but parking is a concern. Due to the unsatisfactory parking situation ( only valet available) I’d consider another hotel next stay in Devonport. Sorry To send a customer into a public undercover parking, is not standard to me. I’d like to have my car safe nearby. Also suggest a room service with some food and beverages, not just what’s in the minibar, is standard in other Novotels.

Clean and quiet room with a great view

We were on the 5th floor facing the water and it was great. Good location.

Convenient location

We noticed quality has dropped at Novotel Devonport. Light broken and couldn’t turn it off overnight and strong Asian cooking odour from restaurant that goes up to 3rd floor room through air conditioning vents. Toilet very low and no hold guard rail to help me get up.

The breakfast box provided due to our early morning departure was both substantial and beautiful. We loved our stay at the Novotel.

Simple, clean, no thrills, Valet isn’t what I expect from a paid service. No help with bags and car parked in the rain when you request it instead of bought to you.

I never stayed as I could not change the date and could not speak to anyone from wotif. Novotel were very sympathetic but were unable to assist as it was booked by wotif. I will not recommend or use wotif again.

great stay, nothing was too much trouble from extra towels brought up to the room, valet parking and staying an extra 2 hours with the parking to attend the Devonport Car Show. Beautiful room, clean and everything required for our stay, close to everything.

Fantastic. Staff friendly. Very quiet hotel even though fully booked. Location is fantastic close to different takeaways and cafes.

The room was very comfortable, with a great view of the river. What lets this hotel down is parking. Self parking is apparently about 100m away from the hotel (so I was told by reception), so I chose the valet parking option, which is more expensive. It is also a little inconvenient as each time I returned the car, I needed to let them know when I would need it next, which was sometimes just a guess. Room service was quite expensive, and the portion was fairly small. There's not a big choice of restaurants in the immediate area near the hotel.

Smart hotel in an excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant butmake sure you book beforehand as it fills up quickly. Close to ferry terminal.

The room had two queen beds but was set up in such a way that made it inconvenient for us to both sleep in one of them. There was just a single table between the beds with bedside lights and power points.
