Good all around. Everything was as expected. The only thing to complain about was the quality of the breakfast. Arrived at around 9am, and everything was "stale". Bread didn't seem fresh. Hot food was just luke warm. Not much in terms of choice, and the taste was rather bland.

Overall the place is nice, the room is spacious and clean, however one of the cups is dirty.

New clean modern , great rooms especially the view over the harbour entrance . Staff are really friendly , off-site parking one block from Novotel is the cheapest and and convenient . I’m extending by staying one more week , really a great hotel in a good location!

People were very nice and good to deal with. Unfortunately i had to make multiple reservations for a single multiple day stay. The last night was supposed to be a balcony but unfortunately they could not accomdate a balcony with 2 beds so never received what we actually paid. But we did not make a fuss as the people there are extremely nice.

This was a family trip and we arrived the hotel to give everyone a little rest before our evening program. I had some sick kids needing close attention on this trip. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. Our ooms were interconnected but the doors were not unlocked at check in. I called the front desk 5 different times and managed to get a response once with a promise that someone will be sent to unlock them. I waited for more than an hour without luck. I had to hunt for room cleaners along the corridors to open the doors without success as well. Eventually I had to walk down to the front desk again (as they wouldn't pick my calls) before someone was sent to deal with the doors. Really difficult, unenjoyable and wasted evening as I couldn't get the rest we checked in to get.

I had a balcony room & it overlooked the water. Woke up to the Spirit leaving & felt like I could touch it from my balcony. Everything was lovely, I enjoyed my night. Everything from the service to the food & ammenities was wonderful. And everything was in walking distance.

Our first night in Tasmania and we were instructed to leave our car behind the property as our vehicle was too high. Our children's 3 electric scooters were stolen during the night. The following morning the reception staff said yes that devonport for you. They could have informed us to bring them inside to be safe. The breakfast was lovely though. But we were to be given 2 rooms, however we only got 1. Apparently if you dont discuss this with reception as another name for the 2nd room its too bad.
