Ovolo The Valley

Pros: Free minibar, helpful staff, have Alexa to play spotify music, bath robes, slippers, spacious bathroom, great shower and you can choose what kinda pillow you need. located in a valley which has almost everything that you would need. close to Brisbane airport which is good for catching morning flight. Cons: the duvet cover was smelled a bit of wet when we arrived but it was taken care of when we raised the issue. shower gel smells of washing up detergent.

Room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable - slept well! Getting warm water in the shower took some time, but overall the stay was pleasant. Valet parking is available but I am not a fan of trusting my vehicle with others - parked under The Callie which was perfect.

My package included 2 drinks and they weren’t offered. I booked this hotel because of the loot bags and we didn’t recieve one nor did we get a room upgrade that was offered with the package, I requested 2 beds and had to share with my mum. The only option for parking was $60!!! This wasn’t listed anywhere

Extremely tired hotel. Had to move rooms because the first room was so musty. No hot water in the bathroom sink. No clean towel change. No room service. They mistakenly charged me breakfast even though I didn’t have it and told them so. Arctic reception and pool. I really have nothing good to say about the experience from start to finish apart from the location being convenient.

Clean large room and the candy bar was cool. Great breakfasts too. My only disappointment was the pool was closed for renovations and I didn’t know that at the time of booking or I probably would have changed this

Staff were brilliant - very welcoming and engaging. The rooftop bar was the perfect place to spend a few hours, enjoy the view and indulge in the fantastic food on offer. Only spent one night, but would definitely be back.

Stayed at Ovolo Brisbane the Valley and overall had a great experience. The hotel itself is stylish and well-located, making it easy to explore the area. The room was a little on the small side, but still comfortable and functional. One downside was housekeeping. The room wasn’t serviced until around 3–4pm the following day, which felt quite late. On the plus side, complimentary bottled water was a nice touch and much appreciated. The biggest surprise was the parking fee: $60 per day for valet or onsite parking. That’s steep sometimes more than the cost of flights or even car hire and fuel! If you’re driving, I’d recommend looking for nearby parking alternatives to save some serious cash. All in all, not too bad worth considering if you’re after a boutique stay in a vibrant location.

Excellent location central to all the Theatres and restaurants. Everything you need is a fast Uber or comfortable walk. Just make sure the parking suits your needs and the staff are very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Plus what a cool atmosphere set by the decor

Comfortable room, located near wedding reception we attended. Air conditioning temp didnt change as you move temp control.

Staff were terrible

I didn't like that the weekend cleaning staff weren't very thorough. In room dining menu was scarce of meat dishes, but the food was delicious anyway. There was also a Sundays and public holidays surcharge on room service. However the room itself, was fantastic! The view was nice, the room and furniture were neat, tidy and clean. An in-room coffee pod machine with complementary pods and bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The staff were great and very helpful. Unfortunately there was no information upon/during booking about the gym and pool currently being under renovation. This was very disappointing as access to these facilities were at 2 seperate locations within an 800m radius of Ovolo. This was disclosed to me only at check-in.

Pool area was supposed to be ready after reconstruction. But it was delayed without notification.
