Great view of Scarborough beach and decent swimming pool . Service are great

Renovations are taking way too long with pool out of action and front entrance also closed making check in with a car quite tricky.

Convenient location , close to beach and outdoor activities. Lots of eating options nearby. Room was dated , dusty , empty water bottle behind bed-stand , cleaning standard wasn’t where we expected . Aircon noisy and dusty. Servicing of room poor in our opinion. Convenient parking available onsite for a cost , but getting out at times was challenge.

Building seems old , one lift and the escalator was not operational.

The property was undergoing a much needed renovation. Elevators and escalators were not operating at times. We were aware of the work on the hotel when we booked but chose to stay for the beach location.

The gym only opens at 7:00am which seems ridiculously late given that many guests will be attending for work purposes. It needs to home at 5:00am. The northward view of the coast is wonderful. The view of the waterless pool, with some forgotten and unwatered palms is less appealing.

bottles of shampoo , hair conditioning and soap in the shower were diluted with water. comparing with other soap next to bath and toilette.

Great spot in the heart of Scarborough esplanade, lovely room with ocean vista, comfy bed, unfortunately a few renovations going on but look forward to coming back when it’s had a refurbishment

The hotel was clean, rooms are modern and there are plenty of amenities. It is slightly soulless but we were only here for one night.

Awesome beach view

Was charged $42 for a bottle of wine that I nor my colleague definitely did not order (am still waiting for a response regarding this 5-days later). When I checked into my room there was a cot setup which I did not request and the ‘king’ bed was two single beds pushed together where the noticeable join in the middle was easily felt.

Rooms have great views. Parking to check in is quite difficult with front entrance still closed. Renovations are taking a long time with pool still closed.

Loved the convenient location and view of the ocean from our room. Light bright clean feel. The complementary chocolates and champagne for my daighters 21 was much appreciated!

Bathroom was dated and worn. Partial glass wall in shower meant floor got very wet when we showered. Balcony was very dirty - looked like someone had thrown up on it. Room felt tired and worn. Staff were friendly, location was great.

Room was good with a nice view of ocean we had a great buffet breakfast. However we Had a slight issue with parking under the hotel when talking to staff about it on checkout they were a little rude however a nice stay

Rooms are large and comfy. They are going through an upgrade, do rooms will be upgraded. Location is always great for food and bars along with the ocean.

Room was ok hotel itself a bit lifeless, having no pool was extremely disappointing and wasn’t aware until hotel paid for! Alternative was a lane swim pool not leisure, felt hotel wanted more money every where possible, parking extra, coffee at breakfast extra, decor was very basic no welcoming areas once away from reception not art on walls etc. bar areas often in darkness, balcony but no chairs to sit out there, pictures on website and Expedia deceiving as not showing correct pool, should have started refurb about 10 years ago. Liked Scarborough but wouldn’t stay in that hotel again
