Terrible condition got its age. The carpet was stained. The apartment smelt from the drains and the room had not been cleaned properly. Very disappointing

Check in was seamless, the apartment clean and in good condition. We like the location, close to everything

Very comfortable apartment with plenty of room. Great location near the city, free swimming pool Lagoon and large shopping centre.

The blinds in lounge room were mouldy, floor was a bit sticky to walk on and the shower screen in the bedroom was soap scummy. Some dishes were dirty. TV controls for the bedroom were on top of switchboard cabinet instead of on the side table in bedroom. The apartment was very comfortable and roomy. We had a good night sleep.

Reception staff are barely civil in communications prior to the stay, but much better during the stay. Manager of the apts was helpful when I escalated to her, but we had an issue with the lift and her first response was that someone did it. The staff attitude towards paying guests leaves a lot to be desired. Apartments are very nice and location is great, but I wouldn’t stay again. They are beyond rigid with everything - read the rules before staying. Rooftop area is amazing, but they don’t encourage use of it and no outside guests allowed. Advertised room with a queen bed, but it was a double bed at best so sleep wasn’t easy with 2 of us in a double bed. Recommend Quest on Gordon to anyone looking for Mackay accom - staff, room and facilities all brilliant.

As always i enjoy my stay here.

Clean room, but had Clean the room sign out for three days. ( Not done) ended up asking cleaner for clean towels. A little disappointing

Rooms and balcony needed a better clean

Good location, we liked the size and layout of the apartment, it also had a good sized balcony overlooking the river

Was a nice and quiet room and very spacious

Unit was filthy, thick dust on surfaces, cobwebs and dust all over the wall corners and pictures. Mould all over the TV cable, ants everywhere in the kitchen. Massive hole on the bedroom ceiling covered up with a mouldy piece of paper and tape. Dishwasher didn’t work. Made a complaint nothing done!

We had a large spacious suite with an extensive balcony area. The staff were very nice and an issue with a tripped fuse was fixed quickly. However over the six nights the room was serviced once and we had to ask for supplies.

Nice property. Our instructions were clear as we had a late arrival due to train delays. Room was clean and cool. The accommodation is close to the shops and a walking track that lead you to the Botanic Gardens. Great rooms, and rhe staff were lovely and helpful as we left our bags with reception after our checkout. Great place to stay and very welcoming city.

Exceeded my expectations, the check in was good, they even helped with list of restaurant suggestions in the local area. The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The room was a good size and well laid out

you could hear people in other rooms at 5am in the morning

Reception was lovely

This is the second time I have stayed at Riviera and it won't be the last. This is definitely my accommodation of choice in Mackay.

There was a bad smell in main Bathroom, very strong, The main Bedroom A/C didn’t get cold. The other rooms a/c good. Stain on floor & wall. The picture of the kitchen they show with IPad not true & bathroom amenities with L’occitane Not true. Other then that close to Canland shopping centre & eateries you can walk too.

It's in a great location and so easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. The property was nice and clean.
