Between the location, the break room, staff, and cleanliness of the hotel alone make it a great stay. The price was great.
The room was good. Due to an issue with a previous customer, the shower head was damaged in my room, but since it still worked and I was only staying three nights, I didn’t move when they offered. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I used at a hotel in years.
The only issue I had was that the front desk isn’t maintained 24/7, but they are on call during the late evening, so it isn’t a huge issue.
As long as the price doesn’t change much, I will probably pick this hotel again if and when I return to Cairns.

飯店位在Cairns市區，房間十分乾淨，服務人員友善，早上有簡單咖啡點心供使用，但是要在8:30前去拿比較好，否則可能出現螞蟻!! 距離碼頭走路約5分鐘，若想去夜市及其他商店購買伴手禮都非常便利，我們來回機場搭乘uber，單程約澳幣18左右不算貴，整理來說CP值很高，非常推薦唷!!

But no phone in your room, you can only go to the reception every time. Single bed is very uncomfortable; double bed is very comfortable lol, closely next to the woolworths and a mall with a small food court

Well located, with a few minutes walk to Woolworth, night market and the reef terminal. Comfortable and huge room. Friendly and helpful staff, Betty, who help us and answering questions patiently. However, the air conditioning system was not function quite well during our stay. But anyway, it was quite a nice stay for us!

很差的一間酒店，不明白為何評分可以咁高。特別是check in 當日那個帶點黑皮膚的女receptionist， 其態度直頭是趕客。我們住了不少酒店，也沒有一家像她那樣不想做， 黑口黑臉，一點禮貌也沒有。還不斷問我what's your name ？what's do you want？passport比佢又唔睇 ……大姐，我黎住架 ！唔係黎坐監呀 ！我犯左咩事，要你比面色我睇呀？早機早得濟呀？一或叫你答我呢個地址係咪呢間酒店都唔得呀？還是，我們是中國人呢？ 一粒老鼠糞就夠整污整煲粥，一間酒店有這位員工就已經夠趕客了。房間不清潔，門手佈滿塵埃，椅子是壞的，掛畫歪了也不會弄正。厠所和淋浴處地上沒有分隔，淋浴時水向外面流出，弄至整個厠所也濕哂 ……無view也不在話下，樓下正是一間中式餐館。所謂的refreshments 是給螞蟻吃的 ………當初看到評分高才訂此酒店，但發現貨不對辦的 。hotel.com的酒店名稱跟當地的有分別，最可笑是 ……現在叫我評分時所出的酒店名跟本不一樣， 我是住Abbott hotel Cairns ,不是什麼northern 0乜乜呀 ～～～～

The hotel is located in the city center and even the pier, actually it is located in the middle of the shops and restaurants. Free light breakfast is offered and the spacious common area makes us feel comfortable and great. The only thing is no balcony so that you may miss the beautiful seaview of Cairns!

Excellent, central location, walk to everything. Rooms were spacious and modern, well appointed with a minifridge and coffee/tea making. The best amenities were a FREE washer/dryer (with free detergent), they were small but ideal for traveller sized loads, and a fully equipped kitchen. There's also a free Nespresso machine and biscuits (drawback was lack of milk for the coffee). This is definitely the place to stay in Cairns. Great value. Highly recommended.
