Exceeded our expectation. Didn’t regret choosing to live in the old town at Ghent. (Not very touristy. More authentic and chill experience in a Game of Throne like medieval town.) Night walk in the old town is a must. So the location is superb.
The room is very beautiful.
Staff is very warm and helpful. We had great chat with the young lad David. We can feel his enthusiasm and love to his home town. They also recommended great restaurants. We had one of the best meal in my ten years living in Europe.
Will definitely visit and stay here again.

A PERFECT CHOICE. The best location (just around of the big castle, and also have the tram stop), very good room and view, service very good also. Room is big enough.
The price is not really cheap, but compare to the other choice of the near price level, I strongly recommended this hotel.
One "bad side" for me is the supermarket is near to walk for around 1 tram stop, but there is some night shops around.
PS: One personal tips for peoples who stay here. If you are boring to common burger and firies meal, pls walk (or take tram) 1-2 stop to the "Turkish zone".

The room is very beautiful.

Water leaking from shower. Sofa very old, Room floor not even. Can’t turn on heater until we got night guard to assist to turn on. Breakfast not worth the money.

The location is great and the hotel property is clean but the bathroom smelled terrible ( bad smell from drain) which appeared fixed the next day, hot water kettle stopped working, bathroom toiletries were all empty - had not been refilled. The room itself was clean and spacious. Hotel breakfast and staff at breakfast were both great.
