ibis Brussels Centre Gare Midi

Habíamos reservado una habitación para 3 personas y nos dieron una para dos personas, pero nos la cambiaron sin problema.Es una zona no muy segura por lo que recomiendo no llegar muy tarde o usar taxi.

There was a strong smell in the bathroom, very similar to the odor you’d find in a public toilet. I don’t think it was due to poor cleaning, as the room itself was tidy. It seemed more like a structural or plumbing issue. It really affected our comfort, and I hope the management can investigate and fix it.

The room was average. Unfortunately, both nights of our stay, there were a bunch of kids running up and down the halls at night, banging on doors and running away. It is very convienient to the train, but that comes along with lots of trash and homeless people all around. The check in was easy and the bar was also very nice. Its about a 25min walk from city centre, but i felt safe majing the walk.

While this hotel is convenient to the Brussels Midi Train Station, it is not in great shape. The room was fine, but the carpet was pretty dirty and in need of cleaning. It just looks like it needs an update. The breakfast was great though and very nice with plenty of options. The staff was kind and helpful.

Great location to Brussels midi. Great price.

Great location, within 5 minutes walk from Midi station. All attractions are within 30 minutes walk. Only worst point is no refill of coffee bag after room cleaning, you need to get it from the reception counter from time to time.

It was good

I spent only one night at the hotel. It is very close to the midi station. About 2km from the attractions in the centre. Very busy hotel. Walking around not feeling very safe. Streets are very dirty. We couldn’t get a room before 3pm. So we left our laugage, walked around and returned at 3pm. Great location to fly out of Brussels and not so much. We got there from Ghent.

One of the cups in the tea and coffee had a hair in it. A dissuaded glove was also found in the room.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. It is close by, like 2 mins, in the Gare du Midi station where there is the Eurostar, Metro, Tram and Bus. The hotel itself is quite big compared to other Ibis that we stayed. The hotel is clean and has a security at the entrance. There are just some guy bystanders outside the hotel most of the time. Our room was quite big, clean and comfortable. We had the view of the train station so we expected it to be a little bit noisy. The breakfast in the hotel is decent except one time the mango juice and hot chocolate taste like water. Overall, our stay was good and we recommend it for others to stay.

Hotel was good, staff nice. Area around the hotel feels like a typical train station area.

A very nice hotel to stay for vacation and very clean as well. Staffs are friendly, polite and professional.

Very clean and friendly

Right across the street from Brussels-Midi/Zuid station. 25 min walk to city center. This was a couple night stop between Paris and Brussels and this hotel was PERFECT for that. Staff was friendly, they have lockers to hold items while you’re exploring. Beds were super comfy.

The hotel was good. The only negative is that the two lifts are very slow. Breakfast had a range of hot and cold choices, plus juices and hot drinks. The area around the hotel is a bit dingy, but it is directly across the road from a number of metro, bus and tram lines and the Eurostar terminal. The Sunday market (also across the road) is great for fresh food bargains.

Everything as expected. Disappointing to not have tea and coffee in the room. Was gagging for a coffee when I arrived.

Very convenient since the train station is few steps away from the hotel. The Gare Midi train station is convenient if you are going to travel to Paris and Amsterdam and other places in Belgium. There are relatively few restaurants around the area compared to Brussels Central.
