Ants, missing amenities, uncooperative management

Great accomodation in central location. Walkable to metro station, St. Catherine street, bars, clubs, grocery stores, and restaurants. The studio is small but cozy and clean. Will definitely stay here on my next visit.

Overall it was a great stay. The property could be more well maintained and have basic features such as hooks/hangers on the walls or in the washroom. Other than that it's a great stay. Clean, easy to access and comfortable. Amazing cost-benefit.

For the price, this is an excellent place. It is clean and a good location. A few small points: 1) Recycling bins in the garbage closet would be nice. 2) Entrance was awkward with people being locked out consistently. I think an attendant on the speaker would be most helpful.

Perhaps because it’s near the station and has easy access to the downtown area, the safety wasn’t exactly excellent. However, the room itself was tidy and clean. I had a comfortable stay!

No microwave or kettle

Great place to use a home base visiting Montreal! Unfortunately we only had one towel and no blanket on the bed (2 sheets though) and we did ask for those and never received them despite a quick reply from the host. Otherwise this was the perfect place to stay for first time visitors. Close to transit and walking distance to everything we needed.

A lot of places to eat are closed by.

Quiet and reliable transportation

Overall everything is good but so noise and require change towel and blanket wasn’t fulfilled.

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed at the same property. It’s a cute boutique hotel. The rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are clean in a very convenient location to the village if that’s where you wanna go.

This place is not worth it, trust me. Poorly cleaned, stains on the walls and in the bathroom, broken shower, broken towel hanger, dirty cups and dishes. Only a very thin blanket on the bed on a -13 degrees celsius outside in winter, that was crazy, at least the heater was working. Poor noise isolation, could hear everyone on the other bedrooms and hallway. It's very close to the subway but this area is not very good, lots of homeless people in the subway entrances. The room was also not prepared for winter, we made a mess with our winter boots, nothing we could do. The room was dirty from day one because of the boots and that was it, nightmare, no one to clean, no extra towel or door mat.

This place is contemporary and was very clean. The only problem is is that the television was not connected to any hardwire or Wi-Fi and it could not be set up. There is absolutely no reason to have our television if there’s no way to connect it to anything. Otherwise, the property is in a good location, safe and clean And the communication was good.

Let me start by saying I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I will be honest and fair here. Its very disappointing, I will pay more next time to get a better place. There was a lot of problems, and i wouldn’t consider it a hotel. Firstly, my room was in the basement, beside the garbage room that is filled with flies. Super gross! I cant believe they put rooms down there! I immediately messaged the property to see if I could get a room on a different floor or one without flies in it. They responded the next day saying it was fully booked so I couldn't move. The property is not sound proof at all, so you can hear every single person around you, including people outside. There is construction right outside the window, super loud in the morning and impossible to sleep through even with ear plugs. The tv did not work. The bathroom lights flickered. The mattress is just a chunk of foam. There is noone working there, and feels unsafe. Dirty comforter, walls, hair in bed, no coffee or tea, I could go on and on… I would definitely not trust to leave anything expensive in the room, and felt unsafe as a solo female traveller. A few good things about the place was the location, the easy check in, good pillows, towels and sufficient toilet paper/toiletries. The bathroom was clean and water pressure was good. All in all if you are on a really tight budget and plan to spend very little time in the room, its fine for the price, but i wouldn't stay there again.

Great condition and locality to walk around Clean room, would recommend

I liked that it has a nice bed, shower and room was spacious enough but I did not like there was no duvet and also i dislked having to take the upstairs.

I was hesitant at first to book this considering the many negative reviews. But I needed a cheap place to stay and the rooms looked nice online. The room and bathroom was definitely on the smaller side but as a solo traveller for two nights, that wasn’t a bother to me. Especially since the room had pretty much all that I needed including a mini fridge, plates, and cutlery. The storage space was enough for me and there was plenty of room under the bed. The bed, linens, headboard, and pillows were very comfy and I was really impressed by them. The Roku smart tv was very nice as well and I was able to mirror my laptop screen to it. The toiletries were good. Paper towel was provided but I did wish I was provided a tissue box but it’s not a big deal. The amount of towels provided was sufficient for one person and they felt very high quality. I used the microwave a lot but didn’t use the induction cooktop. The A/C unit was very nice to have as well/ Overall, I’m very satisfied by the room itself and impressed compared to the other reviews! My room was on the ground floor but since I came with a carry on-size suitcase, the stairs was not a problem. I didn’t have a view as the room looked out on to the back fence and fire escape. The floor did have a noticeable trash stench but it was definitely tolerable. The garbage room was full of flies which was not a pleasant surprise. The overall condition of the building wasn’t the best but my room was fine and secure. Would stay again!

Checked in, room unclean. Called customer care to have room cleaned, they sent cleaning lady next day while we were out. When we came back, my expensive branded jacket, a bag of food and 2 pairs of contact lenses have been stolen. Management is uncooperative and cannot provide details of the manager or the cleanin personnel or the Video surveillance and keep telling us they are looking into it. They are not willing to provide that to the police either when we filed a complaint. We are still waiting to hear back from management to find and return our stuff or compensate us for the losses. Horrible experience from a safety and security perspective. The staff is unable to understand the urgency and left me no choice but to file a criminal police complaint and if unable to compensate me back I may have to take legal action.

Cons: Barely few. 1. No extra blankets are provided and the given blanket is very thin. Pros: 1. Accessible to all nearby areas. 2. Provides all basic amenities including towels and napkins. 3. Well well maintained and responsive staff (online communication). 4. Agreed for an early checkin-in and a 30 minute late check-out. 5. Spick and span. 6. Keyless entry and no waiting time or formalities for check-in (just like a walk-in).
