Clean, staff ( some ) need fluency in English,

We all had the best sleep. Building was nice and clean. Great location. There were not many cups or towels in the suite which made me feel like maybe some had been used and not replaced (?). Not sure, but it didn’t feel great.

Was a convenient location and the rooms were very clean, the Bistro was just okay definitely recommend going elsewhere where for dinner.

We stayed three nights and on our last day, housekeeping didn’t come to refresh the towels and empty the garbages. We got back to our room shortly after 11 pm so no with didn’t call housekeeping. Other than that, it was great. Very clean hotel, reception very good, nice big size room.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was also very excellent with good variety and delivered by staff with great attitude. The cleaning of the rooms was under par and often required intervention to let the staff know your requirements and they did this as requested. Low point was the staff who was on duty to check us in on 16th night (man of Asian origin) . His behaviour bothered on rudeness and he made us feel very unwelcome. I think his behaviour is an outlier because, subsequent receptionists were excellent

I didn’t like that booking our stay through Expedia gave us the surprise of not including the free breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay, only downside was with the price we paid breakfast was not included. Everything else was top notch.

Close to downtown.

My best stay so far in the Waterloo area. Many other options in the same price range are clearly not as good.

The staff was excellent clean rooms lots of options loved the cafe! Great stay!!

Not many options on the breakfast menu. Good clean room. Beds were comfy and I liked the linens and pillows.

The room and bathroom were generally clean, but it was noticeable that the floors hadn’t been vacuumed before I checked in, and they still hadn’t been done the next day. The hotel used to maintain a much higher standard, so this was a bit disappointing compared to previous stays.

Older hotel but refurbished nicely. Everyone was pleasant. Most modern properties have some form of breakfast included. This one does not.

Check in time at 3pm, shuttle was picking everyone up for the wedding at 330. We tried to check in early and no rooms were available - understandable, so we were told to come back at 3 to check in before we go. We went back at 3:10 after getting ready for the wedding in the bathroom, still no rooms available any time soon… had to check in after the wedding at 130am. We were in the room only to sleep, and bothered that there were no rooms available even after check-in time. They weren’t able to help with any discount or anything so we spent $250 to check in at 130am
