On Expedia, it writes $52 one night, but when you be there, they said the cheapest there is $75 one night. Plus, the blankets there stinks.

The place is good, surrounded by several retirement houses, and located next to Western University. However, it takes a 5 minute walk uphill form the nearest bus station, and it is a bit difficult to locate. The facility is fine except the heating is not functioning, it was too dry and too hot, in which I have to leave the window open throughout the night for making myself a little more comfortable.

A clean, reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay. No shower in the room, but that was expected based on the description. No blackout curtains.

For what we needed close to the hospital it was perfect. Don’t judge the facility by the outside. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Thank you.

Great place to stay if you are going to appointments at University hospital or St Joe's.

Parking was easy and lots of room. Room was very clean and lovely.

I had requested a room with a single bed and half bathhroom for one night, room 318. The bed mattress was so old that I sank into it. I had a very poor sleep. I am not an overweight person. I felt compelled to mention this most important matter to the receptionist so she could pass my genuine concern to the owner. I hope the mattress will be replaced with a new, firm one for future guests. The air conditioner has a humming sound which restricted a quiet room for watching tv and sleep. So I turned the air conditioner off. Otherwise the room was clean, the staff very pleasant, sufficient parking for all guests, and the cost per night stay very reasonable if you must travel with a budget in mind.

The room we had was 317 it was very cold and not comfortable. We left and went to another room . My dad was having major surgery the next day and we all were very cold in this room

This was a great place to stay closes to the hospital, lots of parking, room was clean, and having the fridge in the room was handy for pop and waters. Thank again for the great hospitality.

Good for budget stays in a quiet location

The walls are an ugly, glossy, dirty cream colour. The room feels cold and hard because of the dented metal and poorly painted cabinets. It feels cheap and unwelcoming, like they made a bedroom inspired by your high-school locker. The door handle was broken and there was no additional lock so it didn't feel safe. The mattress is very soft so my back was in a lot of pain in the morning and the conforter was visibly dirty with something red (i hope not blood?). I used to be homeless and I can honestly say that ive stayed in homeless shelters nicer than this hotel. The vibe is dark and dirty, and I wish I would have just slept in my car like I was going to, or spent the extra $20 for a decent hotel that offers free breakfast and a full bathroom. Its a place to sleep and isnt trying to be anything more. They really survive on customers coming here for the first time only. If they quote you higher than $40 for the room, youre getting ripped off. Its not a 1 min walk from Western either, maybe from the property line but the main buildings are about 20 min walk away.

Beautiful setting and good location.

Gust house has been my go too place for seven years; it's clean the area around is safe pretty and full of energy with nice shopping. The restaurant are just so so. I let others know how well they will feel at home
