게스트 하우스 온 더 마운트는 웨스턴 대학과 매우 가까이 위치하고 있으며 시설도 깔끔합니다. 특히 공동 부엌 시설이 잘 되어 있어서 음식을 해 먹기 좋습니다. 투숙객들도 조용하고 서비스도 좋습니다. 적극 추천합니다.

I accept the rate was low and accept that the standard of the room would be equally so. But the room was also cold during a particular spell of cold and snowy weather. At the same time the corridors were warm, so the heating was working, but not extended to my room.

Quiet location. Reasonable cost. Central northend location, close to everything. Great staff. No negative issues. I’ve stayed here 4 times prior to this visit. And, I will likely return again in the future.

Parking was terrible heat and AC unit very old antique

I came to London for a doctors appointment, my daughter found your hotel online, it was close to university Hospital, convenient!

The staff were amiable and very ready to assist.

Walkway to Richmond Street was locked and I was forced to go around the fence as I was traveling without a car I found this inconvenient and unnecessary.

If you are expecting a hotel, this isn’t it. This was a bizarre place but weirdly had everything you need for a comfortable night sleep. I read the reviews and expected something like this. The lady at reception was super lovely, that’s the only staff I saw on my one-night stay. It used to be a nunnery and feels like a nursing home with wide hallways, bumpers and gurney elevators. I had a room with a full bathroom and it was basic and clean, very hospital-like. Only basic soap provided so being all toiletries and hair dryer. Old furniture, TV the size of a computer screen, only one plug in the room under the night table. Mattress was clean and the carpet was brand new. I wouldn’t suggest using the old closet or built-in drawers. There is a communal kitchen and dining area which was great to heat up my dinner. Very quiet, eerie. I didn’t like that there’s no lock on the door at all, it just locks automatically when you close it. I think some people live there. The “front entrance” is actually around the back and the parking is actually at the front where the parking is. Just go left when you enter the driveway, follow the signs and then enter the building where there is a Welcome awning. Saves driving back around, leads to the same lobby which feels like a commercial office or medical building. Overall, it was fine for a cheap price. Just don’t expect much. 5 min drive over to the university. I’d probably stay again if I’m going to the university since it’s so close.

Excellent hostel. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom this is a great place to stay. If you dont want to share a bathroom they do have rooms with them fir more $. Ive done both here and will likely save the money and share the bathrooms in the future - all impeccably clean!

The building is old and unkept. To get to the reception you have to go up a service elevator which is filthy. The room was also in bad condition. The carpet was not clean, there was a brown liquid splashed all over the wall, and the storage cupboard smells very strongly of fish. The bathroom toilets to not have lids, they are like the ones you would find at the mall. The shower head is broken so that the water pressure was poor and spraying all over. No shampoo or any other necessities are available. The bed was clean but old. The walls are also paper thin. My last concern is that the door to the room is auto locking, so there is no way to physically lock it from the inside. I found this concerning as a solo traveller. There is a kitchen on site and fridges that are for communal use. It’s very reminiscent of a hostel. However, there seem to be many long term residents that are not keen to have you near there things.

No one returned my call. Upon arriving I was told there was no bathrooms in the room it would be an extra charge. Did the upgrade to then find out there was no shower Had to do another upgrade from there was expected to pay for it, and then no soap was provided at all. For 130 a night I would have been better off to sleep in my car and find a sink to wash up in for free. Very disappointing especially after a long day at the hospital, this is supposed to be a friendly welcoming place for families with loved ones in the hospital. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was confusing was finding the entrance and parking. We went around a few times before realizing and asking someone where to park. It's too bad the parking lot wasn't at the front door but all in all I definitely would book another room and stay again.
