Location was perfect to enjoy all downtown Stratford has to offer. The room was fantastic. Really appreciated the owner noticing us looking for parking. He actually ran down the street to call us back to the property so we could have a spot right behind the inn.

Very unique and creative inn, just the kind of place we love. Evidence everywhere of the thought put into decorating and maintaining this inn. Close to everything. Owner and manager kind and thoughtful. If you want a cookie-cutter chain hotel this is not for you. If you want a one-of-a-kind small inn with intimate rooms you will love the Perth County Inn. Checking in is easy as long as you follow the very specific instructions faithfully. Go and enjoy! 🌺

Very well located along the river and the main drag in town. Clean and pleasant with some character in each room.

Wonderful stay … room was well equipped, clean, bed was very comfortable. Patio was so relaxing! Perfect location to enjoy the river, attend the theatres & to downtown. Owner, Bruce, made sure we were made to feel welcome & was extremely helpful during our stay! We highly recommend this gem! Bob & Mavis LaCelle

The suite was well maintained and very clean.

Excellent location. Quiet. Found silverfish in bathroom. TV mounted on wall was most inconveniently placed: I bumped into it three times. Only three parking spots and they were all taken - had to park at public metred lot some distance away.

Was a great evening, cool place!

Positive: well located - walking distance to theatres, restaurants, gardens and the Thames River. There is no staff on site - however when the outdoor lock had been made inaccessible with the code for the door, the owner was on the ball and sent someone down to let us in and fix the problem. I'm happy it did not occur at 11 pm. Negative: not as pictured on the website. We stayed in the 'Air Studio' which is actually the basement level with a patio walk out to the street The floor is painted cement. and the duct work is exposed - very industrial. The bed is a murphy bed and was not very comfortable. It was like sleeping in a kitchen. The photosyou have on Expedia is not representative of the room

Wonderful location. Nice kitchen. Parking not a problem. Despite Bruce’s continued insistence when we arrived, we had not (and still haven’t) received by text or email (and we DID check our junk mail folder) the access codes. And we both phoned and emailed the inn earlier in the day asking about them, but had no response. Fortunately, we ran into Bruce just as we arrived. His phone was dead and he couldn’t reach the property manager to confirm our reservation, but he trusted us, even though we failed to bring with us evidence of the reservation. Bruce did a nice job pointing out various establishments (coffee shops, etc,) nearby. A shower/bathtub was advertised. It was shower only. Air conditioning was advertised, but it less than satisfactory. There was an efficient room AC unit in the main living area, but nothing in the bedrooms, where sleeping was uncomfortable. Had there been screens on the windows, we could have opened them up to cooler evening air. The inn should consider fans in the bedrooms. The bedroom with no closet has no dresser, hooks, etc. for clothes. Just a luggage rack. Our fire alarm went off 11:45 pm one evening. Rapid response from Bruce and manager disconnected it for us. (Reportedly a dying battery.) Good job!

I was a little nervous about the “no check-in desk” (only emailed codes for the main entry and room doors) but it all worked out fine. The room was decorated interestingly. The scent of the soap/Shampoo was not for us, but the staff came minutes after we emailed them to remove it. Coffee shop is great. Location can’t be beat. Owner sat out on the porch one day chatting with guests. Friendly guy!

We were in Stratford to see a show. We arrived early and were allowed to park prior to checking in. After our show we met Bruce, the owner and he kindly showed us our room and explained some of the amenities the inn had to offer. The room, despite being on the smaller size, was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was quite comfortable as were the two chairs. The shower had decent water pressure. There were lots of add ons. Coffee and tea in the room, lots of extra towels, several hangers; umbrellas (just in case), smart tv, and mini fridge. There’s a nice patio with comfortable seating where you can enjoy your coffee or an evening drink. The attached coffee shop opens early and there’s a connected bar/lounge for the evening. We were in walking distance to the Avon Theatre and many restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay again and check out a different themed room.

Great property! Close to everything. Will continue to stay here for future visits.

This was our third time staying g at this beautiful property. We love exploring the playful and whimsical touches that make each room unique and specially. The location is perfect and the owner is warm and friendly - what more can you ask for!!!!

This apartment was beautifully located for access to shopping, dining, walking paths along the lake and for at least the Avon Theatre. The a/c worked great, shower pressure and temp great and beds comfortable. Lots of room for four people to spread out, sleep comfortably, cook and dine and play games. Host was friendly and helpful and parking was no problem.

Bruce is a wonderful host! Love staying at the property- walking distance to shops, the waterfront and to delicious restaurants

The well appointed green room was clean and quiet. This is a self service operation with no front desk but check in was flawless with our own personal code to enter. Downtown location is great. We parked on site and walked to all shops, dining and theatre. Can certainly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Perth County Inn. It is in a terrific location, easy walk to the Avon and Tom Patterson theatres, and the shops and restaurants in town . Really enjoyed the Coffee shop for breakfast and the speakeasy. We stayed in the Night Owl Suite, which does only have a Murphy Bed but it was surprisingly comfortable. I would absolutely stay at The Perth County Inn the next time we are in town.

Cute room great location. A bit of noise from the bar at night but not too bad. Our room had a beautiful tub but did not have a standing shower if that is important to you.

All communication was by email which only arrived the morning of our stay. Parking right next to the hotel, very central location, well equiped room and an excellent coffee shop was inside the building,

This property is self-serve, with coded access. The host is attentive and responsive, and everything you need is taken care of. The property is attached to a fabulous bar as well as a super cool coffee shop. The location is perfect, and everything is walkable. The room is well-appointed, very clean and has everything we needed.
