The room was awful the bed was two beds pushed together and a big gap in the middle killed my back, no soap no lotion and one towel not happy at all

Room was nice, and clean however disappointed in the bar closing at 10.30pm even to residents would of been nice to have a nightcap after our evening meal in chester. the disappointment was the breakfast staff were not very courteous not sure if there staffing issues as most of the staff didn’t seem at all friendly on occasion rude, compared to previous years of staying at the hotel.

Upgraded to an amazing room. Spotlessly clean and huge comfortable bed. Have stayed here a few times now and each time has been great!

No parking available,a bit of a smell on the floor leading to our room a few cleaning issues ,had to ask again where our breakfast was ..but when it arrived it was lovely.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable but the room was a little too dark.

We have stayed the last four years in December here. This year, the service in the restaurant was not as good as in previous years.

Room cleaning, The smoke alarm, flashing red and green all night. Bed was uncomfortable. 1 towel between the 2 of us the other towel in the extra towel bag had obviously been handled by a previous occupant as it wasnt folded correctly- therefore we weren't comfortable using it.

Hotel is very good, nice staff and facilities. Parking is always a struggle and expensive at £20 per night.

On arrival staff friendly and helpful. Was given choice of bath or balcony. Room was lovely clean and comfortable. Booked for 2 nights with breakfast. First morning for breakfast must say was over run and breakfast was poor. Service was terrible and no organisation due to number of people eating. Must say second morning breakfast was so different and calm, organised and breakfast was very good. Would feel for anyone who only stayed for one night and it would be unfair if people did judge on that experience.

This is the third time- I have no hot water for a shower in the morning! WiFi intermittent- keeps logging you out

The room was showing its age. Tea and coffee etc not filled up each day. Good location and staff who we spoke to were very friendly. Budget options were probably a better option in the end.

Lovely hotel , very dog friendly. 2 beds and a blanket for our boys , bowls and a goodie bag , was really impressed. Would have liked a mini bar and a quicker check in experience. A bin for the poo bags would have been useful! The only real issue this hotel has is parking, we had to park across a big rd and with 2 dogs not easy with our suitcases, had to do it in 2 go’s , not great when it’s raining ! More parking is needed!

My room was lovely and clean. Staff lovely to.

The first room I was offered had the boiler room in the cupboard. You could hear it outside the room let a lone in. I was then offered another room after complaining.
