Basic, but comfortable accommodation. Noisy location if in rooms front of the building as it's a busy main road, and part of a popular Indian restaurant and bar. However if the windows are kept closed, the sound is tolerable. A fan kept the heat down and much appreciated.

A genuine hidden gem in Mitcham I stayed here while attending a nearby wedding, and it proved to be an excellent choice. It was the closest accommodation to the venue and around 30% cheaper than the familiar budget hotel chains. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, with a very good shower, making it ideal for an overnight stop. The tram stop is only about 150 metres away, so getting around is straightforward. The visit to the bar and restaurant was completely unplanned, but I am very glad i went. The seafood soup and sweet and sour chicken were both superb, and a pint of Madri was a very reasonable £5.70, especially for London. There is no lift, but the walk upstairs helped burn off a few of the calories from dinner! Would I stay again? Definitely. Clean, convenient, great value, friendly and with surprisingly good food. The Casuarina Tree is a genuine hidden gem.

Very good value and was in the perfect location for our reason for visiting Mitcham, onsite free parking is a real positive. Upon arrival it wasn't clear where we had to go to check in and a staff member not on shift didn't seem to know, but it turned out you check in inside by the kitchen service hatch....photo ID was needed and scanned by a polite staff member. The restaurant looked spotless, very clean, bright and airy...the kitchen however, on show through the glass window by hotel check in....looked like it was well over due a deep clean.. We had a 1st floor twin room and on initial appearance it looked very nice, however the on suite shower over bath bathroom, was semi clean, again looked great on first glance however the toilet wasn't cleaned very well and there were easy to wipe away marks all over that just got missed by housekeepers/cleaners.. A nice large desktop fan was a real positive for us as it was a very warm humid day and night...our biggest gripe would be the twin single beds....they were so firm...literally no squidge so we both had a sleepless night and a tired drive home today... After booking check in was moved to 2pm onwards but the 12.00 noon check out is a positive bonus included in the room booking price. Overall it was satisfactory and compared to anywhere else around, amazing value for money considering it's Wimbledon tennis week. Due to the beds we wouldn't stay again in future...

Lovely hotel with really helpful, friendly staff. It’s our second time staying here. We ate in the attached restaurant and the food was amazing and prices very reasonable. Would recommend

We stayed here during Wimbledon and it was ideally located to travel in for the tournament. The staff were super helpful and the car parking was great. Continental breakfast was included.

It's my second time staying in Casuarina, the room is clean as usual. The food served by the restaurant downstairs is yummy.

The staff are very friendly, and the place is clean. It comes with a complimentary breakfast, which is a nice bonus. There are enough parking spaces available. I would highly recommend it for a safe, budget-friendly stay in Mitcham.

Dear Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally raise a serious complaint regarding a recent booking I made through your platform. The condition of the hotel I was assigned was completely unacceptable, far below any reasonable standard, and frankly shocking. From the moment I entered the room, there was a strong, unpleasant smell that made it extremely uncomfortable to stay. The entire environment felt unclean and neglected. Most concerning of all, the bed sheets were visibly dirty and appeared not to have been changed at all. This is something I find absolutely unacceptable, especially considering I was travelling with my baby. Due to these conditions, my baby was unable to sleep, and I did not feel it was safe or hygienic for us to remain in the room. The situation became so distressing that I had no choice but to immediately leave the hotel in the middle of the night. I had to call my husband, who travelled all the way from Birmingham to come and pick us up. This experience was extremely stressful, inconvenient, and completely ruined our stay. I trusted your platform to provide safe and clean accommodation, and this booking failed in every possible way.

Overall, everything was good. Seal on the bottom of the shower door dust stop water from escaping. The bathroom floor was swimming. No real drama though, I would stay again

Opened the door and a large cockroach type bug ran across the desk, the shower head was black with mould, staff advised and shuddered in disgust but sadly nothing was done about it. Avoid this hotel.
