Great location, wonderful spacious room. Vlad the concierge was so pleasant, enthusiastic, informative and professional. Once he found out it was birthday, he went out of his way to make it memorable. Very much appreciated. This is my first choice of hotel whenever in london. Highly recommended.

Staff are amazing. We didn't have breakfast but the concierge recommended somewhere and it was great. Bar had a great IPA which I found thirst quenching. Aircon was really cold which I like. Would stay again without hesitation.

Loved our stay at this property. The location was excellent and very well placed for cafés, restaurants, local street art and entertainment. It is about a ten minute walk to the nearest tube station, if you have lots of luggage, but wasn’t a major issue for us.
The rooms were large, which is a major bonus in London. We received a free upgrade, which was amazing and much needed at the end of a 4-week holiday.
Staff were lovely and so helpful. Spoke to Michael who was one of the hotel managers and had a really nice chat, he also showed us the police cells in the bar and told us a bit of the history of the hotel, which was previously a working courthouse and police station, which added to the charm of staying there.
Loved the rooftop bar, but unfortunately a lot of functions were booked for the weekend we stayed, so could only get limited access. The pool and spa looked great but we didn’t have time to use them, as it’s London, right? Too much to do. Spitalfields market was only a 15 minute walk away, a great place for food, alternative shopping and people-watching.
Would definitely stay here again!

House -keeping service is poor. They even missed emptying the waste basket even if it was full already. They missed replacing the body wash for 2 days so in order to save the hassle of asking them to for some new body wash, I resorted to using the shampoo for both hair wash and body wash. They missed replacing the hot drink and biscuits. Very poor and inconsistent house-keeping service. The neighbourhood is full of bars and pubs so the street can become very nasty at night and maybe even noisy on weekends. Front desk staff tried to be very nice, though.

La habitación estaba muy pólvora y el drenaje de la regadera tapado
Nunca limpiaron bien la habitación y tuvimos que reportar 3 veces el drenaje de la regadera y no lo arreglaron hasta que se inundó la mitad del baño.
Cuando llegas no hay rampa para subir las maletas y no había personal para ayudarnos con las escaleras y hasta que entramos ya apareció el concierge.

Very disappointing experience at what claims to be a 4-star luxury hotel. Three rooms were booked, but only one was available at check-in, forcing six adults to get ready for an evening event in a single room. The remaining rooms were not provided until after our return at 1:30am.
One room had significant maintenance issues, including a blocked sink, faulty shower controls, and an unusable shower due to heavy limescale. To make matters worse, no manager was available to address concerns at checkout, resulting in further delays and disruption.
Most disappointing of all was the hotel's handling of the complaint. Despite acknowledging the failures, no meaningful compensation was offered, leaving the impression that guest satisfaction is not a priority. Unfortunately, the service and standards fell well below expectations, and the response afterwards did little to restore confidence.

Loved this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. We were only there for one night but would definitely stay again. Our room was huge! Very comfortable and clean. The area was really nice. Walkable from shoreditch high street station for getting around but also not far to walk to towerhill area.

Lovely looking hotel. Room was nice and big but a bit of wear and tear, chips in the coffee table etc, pool was nice and warm but not told enough about it at check in, had to ask where it was, then when we went down was told all lockers fully booked had to leave everything by side of pool. Lady who checked us in and out has absolutely no social skills or good customer service, didn’t even wish us a nice stay or ask if we had a nice stay at checkout, wasn’t impressed with the attitude. Not sure it says anywhere £50 deposit required but they do ask for it at check in fyi.
