Great location close to train station and restaurants and shops. Always a great place to stay on my visits to Northampton!

Staff very friendly. Room was ok. Our TV didn’t work & the toilet seat was loose. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is in the public car park attached to the hotel. £8 for one night in the car park , quite reasonable.

Room was clean and comfortable the bed felt different like I'd got another duvet or something on top of the mattress, but when I checked it out in the morning it turned out to be a 2-3 inch foam mattress, so comfortable top marks!!!. And a nice touch also were the complimentary toiletries and earplugs, I'm not aware of anywhere doing that (earplugs). I'd definitely use the chain again. The only negative thing is the car parking I was there around 12hrs and was told at reception that I pay the machine when I leave and it was only £8 for 24hrs yet I was charged £8 SHOULD BE FREE TO GUESTS enter reg at reception job done

I am honestly baffled as to why this hotel only has a 2-star rating; it deserves much more. The communication was excellent. They offer an open WhatsApp line for guest requests, which is a brilliant, modern touch. Even though I didn’t need to ask for anything, knowing that help was just a message away provided great peace of mind. Housekeeping was exceptional. They checked in every morning with fresh towels and offered to clean the room. They were incredibly proactive with beverages—sometimes bringing refills before I even had to ask! Unlike many other hotels, they provide real glassware in the rooms, which makes a huge difference. The Highlights: Accessibility: The rooms are very well thought out with step-in showers and sturdy grab rails, which is essential for anyone with mobility needs. Facilities: For a '2-star' hotel to have a gym, yoga, and Tai Chi facilities is unheard of. It’s also perfectly located near the city centre and a Vue cinema. Cleanliness: After I checked out, I sat in the foyer and watched the staff work. The entire place was cleaned top-to-bottom—absolutely spic and span. The staff were helpful, kind, and clearly felt that nothing was too much trouble. Northampton Ibis - me & my partner come here regularly and it never disappoints. The staff are absolutely brilliant, always welcoming and helpful no matter what time you arrive. The housekeeping team deserve a special mention—they’re honestly the best. So hardworking, thorough, and genuinely lovely people who always go the extra mile. It really makes a difference to the whole experience. Security is also excellent, which means you can properly relax and feel safe during your stay. Overall, it’s a great hotel with a great atmosphere—we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Ive stayed in many hotels around the world and this is amongst the most horrific if not the most horrific hotel Ive ever stayed in. The room I stayed in was beyond basic, grubby, poorly maintained with possibly the worst outlook Ive had (industrial pipes). The walls are paper thin and you can hear quiet conversations in the hotel through the doors. The insulation in non-existent. Its also a hotel used by lots of people going drinking or clubbing late and people come in at all hours (fair enough) but because of the terrible insulation, its impossible not to get woken. The parking is hard to find and is also charged at full city centre rate and the hotel has no concessions.

Very happy with stay. All staff were helpful and friendly. Made to feel welcome from minute we walked in. Korry was outstanding.

This is my wife and I's favourite hotel, we love staying here, I think the cleaning staff do an amazing job, as the rooms are always clean and immaculate, topped up wit all the essentials, the, unsung heroes in my opinion! Some of the front of house team are the warmest and most welcoming, people I've ever met, I have say thank you to Maria for looking after us in such a high degree, she left us feeling we wished we could have stayed longer, which we will do next time because of her warmth and regards to us and her other guests, she deserves to be nurtured to growth and ... IBIS, you can't pay enough for what she gives your hotel and us, id also like a special mention, and share our appreciation to Gorsia{Manager}, in ore and appreciation of her enthusiasm, professionalism and work ethos, couldn't thank her enough for her attention to detail and all our needs. We enjoyed our breakfast, only thing I'd add is bring back the fried/poached eggs!
