Got put in a disabled room that was just annoying with mirror/sink height. Breakfast was not worth eating.

Nice room, staff very polite and friendly

Clean and spacious (more than expected) room and friendly staff.

We stayed in the works room. It was very spacious and had a microwave and full size fridge. It was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. To get a hot shower we had to turn all the taps on and let them run for ages. Once hot though the shower was lovely. The breakfast however was a letdown. No full English only continental. Just cereal or a cheese and pesto panini for vegetarians.

The staff were lovely and friendly. Great location and nice spacious room.

Room was clean, staff were helpful and polite, parking was reasonably priced. Breakfast was basic and room was a bit stuffy with limited ventilation. Decent enough hotel. One thing I would mention is the six minutes to the beach is accurate enough. However, coming back that way means hauling yourself up that steep winding cliff path. Advice: Get fit or take the 20 minute detour.

When we arrived it was earlier than check-in time so I asked if the room was ready. Reception said yes but when we entered the room clearly it wasn’t. Dirty cups shower and bed. Rubbish all over the floor. Admittedly they cleaned it up whilst we went out. Bar staff not trained to pour drinks one evening. Could hear a very angry woman shouting until 2am so no sleep through thin walls. Not blaming staff and I suppose being a cheap hotel you get what you pay for.

One Night to go to The Pavilion Theatre. Only 15 Mins walk - parking can be a premium in town - already paid £10.00 for 24hrs. Reception staff very friendly Bar prices reasonable Room - in need of decoration - stained and marked carpet - flaking wallpaper - security device on door not fit for purpose. Bathroom - in dire need of decoration - missing plaster painted over - shower screen fouls on basin - toilet roll holder funny position. Breakfast - continental with fills ciabatta rolls (bacon/sausage/cheese and pesto) - if I’d paid separately I’d be disappointed bus as it was in the room price it was just acceptable.

Room - not in main building, but in area round the back of the hotel - only accessible from outside. Badly fitting exterior door - very draughty Unable to switch water completely off in shower No exterior lighting or visible security - felt vulnerable and unsafe Room had bad smell when first entered - staff member sprayed it when I complained.

There was no access to heating in the room. Found some rubbish under the bed from left by previous

Room was filthy, there were black hairs everywhere, we found a false eyelash on the bath plug. There was and still is an empty oasis bottle under the bed, the dust at the back of the headboard was at least 1 inch thick as was the dust on top of the hanging space. Stains on carpet.chairs curtains, mirrors and walls. We went to Primark and brought blankets as we didn’t want to sleep in the beds. Stair carpet hasn’t been hoovered for ages and there was a massive clump of black hair on them the whole time we were away.

It was okay the room was clean no dairy alternatives available for coffee. Breakfast wasn’t great but edible

One of the noisiest rooms I have stayed in as there was a large gap between the bottom of the door and the floor so you could hear everything outside the room, especially late at night and early in the morning. Then at 9.30am and 9.35am I twice had members of staff just walk straight in to the room to try and clean it, no knocks, checks or anything... checkout is supposed to be at 11am! It was not a great stay or experience unfortunately.

Was an overall good stay .. though it’s a budget place so nothing premium but ok to stay, clean and peaceful

First impression of hotel upon arrival is it looks nice and clean. Receptionist was a nice guy. Went up to our given room only to find it was already occupied!! So back down to Reception and it took them 10 minutes to find us another room. Room was ok apart from a little grubby in places and some mold around the balcony door. Breakfast was ok but not really worth the £7.50 charge in my opinion

It’s a shame that the hotel currently has a large development/ building site directly outside which I imagine will last at least another year. The room was quite nice in terms of layout and facilities, but it was obvious that vacuuming could be addressed. The bed was very comfortable! There is AirCon in the room, but it appears the guest has no control over it. It was a very mild night, and I couldn’t get the AC to do anything 😔 In terms of location….its at least a 20 minute uphill walk from town/ beach. I walk quite fast, so maybe a 30 minute walk for some? It is a nice quiet nights sleep though with how far out of town it is 👍 I couldn’t comment on the food, as I didn’t eat here. They do provide plenty of tea/ coffee sachets. I would just recommend improving the quality of the vacuuming between guests. I’m also not sure the coffee shop/ bar area is staffed….I stood there for between 10-15 minutes before check-in as I was early, but nobody noticed or approached me to see if I wanted to order anything. Overall, I feel it was an okay place to stay for a night, but no more than that really. My opinion is only based on the double room that I booked with them.

Stayed hear two years ago and it was Brilliant booked for short break beginning of October and couldn't believe it all the staff had left swimming pool closed very noisy from builders next door hotel has gone into liquidation. I feel we should of been told this beforehand. Won't be booking through expedia again .

Fantastic, accomodating, friendly, staff who's '"Can do" attitude, and laid back approach with guests, beguiles the back office efficiency with which makes this smart, comfortable and spotlessly clean establishment such a great place to stay. Keep up the excellent work, I'll definitely be back! Mx
