The staff in all areas could not have been more helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Th air conditioning was very welcome in the middle of a heat wave. The bed was very comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

Great hotel ideally situated for anyone attending events at St Mary's stadium which is a short walk away. Around 15 mins walk from Southampton Central train station and Southampton High Street/West Quay. Breakfast was good and plentiful only negative I would say is that there isn't a lot of room to walk by people when getting breakfast items as space is tight. I would definitely be happy to stay here again and would recommend. For anyone driving the car park opposite for Solent University is great value if parking on the weekend.

Nice easy check in, helpful staff, great breakfast.
We saw a manager personally greet two staff laying tables, who must have been new, they seemed a bit overawed after he went out of his way to stop and chat to them and shake their hands. A mark of excellent people management which didn't go unnoticed.

Room was clean and comfortable. Air con worked. Food was excellent , bar food, breakfast and dinner. Coffee could be better at breakfast and water in room is always nice. Else a good location plenty of staff and a good bar.

Stayed for 2 nights. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable bed. Appreciated clearly marked large size toiletries making it easy to distinguish one from the other when in the shower. Bar and restaurant very comfortable seating and good choices of fairly priced food. The burger was of the highest quality with the crispiest lettuce I have ever had in a burger bun.
Friendly, welcoming and professional staff too. If visiting Southampton again, prior to further cruises will definitely stay here again.

Bra hotell för ett par nätter. Mycket hjälpsam personal vid incheckning, fick snabb hjälp med att byta rum. Mycket sköna sängar och välfungerande luftkonditionering. Badrummet något slitet, men rent. Fint läge med gångavstånd till centrum, genom en fin park.

Staff were amazing as was the breakfast, however our room was a bit tired and dated looking, even though we paid for a room upgrade.
There were no USB charging points in the rooms and the bathroom definitely needs renovating.
Also our room was on the second floor, front facing,so the road noise was quite loud. Request a rear view, or a room on a high floor.

Overall a good location, friendly staff. I did find the bed and pillow a little too firm for my liking and the comforter far too heavy. We simply removed it and only used the cover.

When we arrived at reception we were greeted by a lovely lady called Teresa, she was friendly and helpful, she upgraded our room which was lovely of her, the place was lovely, clean, and smelt great. The touches to our room were very much appreciated, stocked mini fridge, coffee machine, large TV and the biggest bed I've ever stayed in.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the rooom was very small and dated. The carpet was stained and the bathroom wall had two colors of paint. The beds were not comfortable. It is a no cash hotel so a card must be used for the smallest of purchases.
