Super stay, very large comfy room. Pool sauna and steam room bigger than average, friendly staff and very high quality breakfast. Walking distance to roman ruins, beach and lifeboat museum.

Friendly staff

Booked to stay at this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary so paod a little extra to upgrade to the superior room. It was definitely worth it. The room was beautiful, lovely and clean, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. We booked in at the spa and the ladies were so friendly and our massages were very relaxing. The pool was lovely and clean. The food was delicious and the staff in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. There are some local shops and pubs right on the door step which were very convenient. We had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend Old Hall Hotel.

Tidy and friendly

Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Old Hall, it was warm clean and comfortable. The restaurant was lovely the food was great value for money. Breakfast was lovely, especially the avo on toast. the staff were welcoming and friendly through out the facilities.

Hotel rooms have the smell of an old hotel. Whatever they use to clean it does not help with the smell in the rooms. Just smells of old carpet. Noise is an issue. My room must have been near a washing machine or air con unit. Also, not the hotels fault but I was near a room where a resident had the most awful cough which kept me up most of the night. Food was average and the staff would do well not to stand around talking about their personal lives. Overall, the hotel could use some modernisation

Awesome hotel and staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were also really nice after a day out in the cold, seeing the seals and exploring. Food good in the attached restaurant and the breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel is generally in good condition, but our room looked a little tired in places and our first morning no hot water (all ok second night). The bed was great, big & comfy, room was quiet despite facing the road. We'd be happy to stay again if we were in the area.

Liked the hotel and staff but the Aircon units outside my room ran 24/7 making quite a noise

From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with friendly helpful staff . Enjoyed every aspect , room really comfy , food , top quality ( probably one of the tastiest breakfast i have had ) . The added bonus of being able to use facilities if you are staying . cant wait to stay again .

We’ve stayed here on many occasions when visiting family. Sadly all the family have passed away now but we still visit at least once a year. We like all aspects of the hotel and over the year’s standards have been raised. We’ll be back again.

The weekend was a Christmas present for my daughter. The facilities in the Spa and treatments available are great and all the staff were lovely, throughout the hotel and restaurant. The restaurant is quite expensive but the food is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend it all.
