Booked to stay here when seeing Lady Gaga solo. Mannie at reception was really welcoming, very friendly and was more than happy to make sure I was comfortable and go the extra mile. Very little noise from the other guests, only when walking past the door. Housekeeping staff were great too, they chatted away. There's reception 24/7. The area looks a little rough but everyone is really nice and there's plenty of food places around on just eat! Will be back next time I'm at my next concert.

Apart from the lads on reception being canny, it was probably the worst hotel ive stayed in, for every reason possible.

Fruit flies everywhere.

Staff lovely, needs an update. Noisy at night but not all through the night. Rooms very basic but bedding clean and bed comfy. Would stay again for a night when going to see concert

An amazing night stay, close to the town centre, hotel staff were lovely especially the guy at reception who checked us in! hotel was easily accessible, the bed was so comfy and the room was a great size! there were a few fruit flies but nothing of great concern and it didn’t affect our stay whatsoever. would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Easy and friendly check-in. Property close to local buses or a short Uber to Manchester City Centre. Room was decently sized and looked quite newly renovated.

We needed a place to stay while working an event and this place was only 15 - 20 minutes bus from the city centre. To get it out of the way first off, the place is a bit run down and very no frills in its aesthetic. It's a disjointed amalgamation of buildings (thankfully with signs up) with stained stair carpets and patched up doors that really need a refurb ASAP. Having said all that, the room itself was fine. Clean, comfortable bed and hot water to shower - literally all we could ask for. It was very spacious as well - having been to more costly places that offer shoebox size rooms, it was a really nice change. Speaking of the price, it was really good value as well, so if you don't want to blow your budget staying in Manchester, this is a good option. There is no lift, so don't recommend with copious, heavy luggage, especially as some staircases are narrow. As it's in a residential area, there isn't much around, but there is a small convenience store next door, so you can easily grab a few supplies there. All in all, it worked for us, the staff were great, and if we ever go back to Manchester, I would consider it again.

Es una estafa este lugar, por fuera parece una propiedad abandonada y por dentro es peor, es como una película de HOSTEL. Enserio esto es un hotel?. Alejense de ahí, yo me fui a la mañana siguiente en cuanto amaneció y perdí los días que había pagado. 1000 veces mi seguridad

Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Stay Conditions I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at your establishment during my recent stay. Firstly, we were left waiting outside in the rain for five minutes before being allowed into the building. This was after ringing the bell and multiple phone calls. This is unacceptable and showed a lack of basic courtesy and preparedness. Upon entering our room, it quickly became apparent that the facilities were far below standard. One of the blinds was mid-repair and unusable, while the television was in such poor condition it clearly required replacement. The condition of the room was frankly disappointing. Most distressingly, when we returned to our room at midnight, we discovered that the ceiling was actively leaking water into the bedroom and onto our personal belongings. Now gone midnight we had to pack up our stuff and move to a smaller room. This is completely unacceptable in any circumstance. The overall experience was not only frustrating but also disruptive and unacceptable. I expect a full investigation into these issues and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and damage caused.

Poor quality for £200 for 1 night! Staff very nice. Stairs carpet filthy and smelly. Room very clean but very basic.

Cheap & no issues

All good thanks but this hotel has no lift to the top floor no good for disabled people etc

The room had an extremely strong smell of cigarette smoke, and there were burn mark on the window sill. Worse still, the sheets were stained yellow with it. It was too hot to need them anyway, only ventilation being a small window on to a busy road. Very noisy. People staying upstairs were active all night, playing TV loud and walking back and forth, think they may be permanent residents. There wasn’t any lamp so and the bedside table had phone numbers scratched into the laminate. The light switch to the bathroom was hanging off, I dared not even touch it for fear of electric shock, and it was clear holes had been punched into the bathroom door at some point, and patches of wood had been glued over the holes. Also there was no soap in the bathroom. Cheap stay, but offered no comfort, and honestly felt gross. Spend a bit more and stay somewhere better.
