overall good. spacious and clean but somehow there is sewage smell nor sure where it comes from as the bathroom is very clean. otherwise it is good overall

the room is very small and also the toilet are tiny. No space to hook or hang up the clothes. The hot towel rail is behind the toilet which is very small and inconvenience. Luckily we only spent one night.

酒店位于Kendal小镇，靠近Kendal火车站。去Windermere可乘小火车。Kendal镇商业中心颇具规模，也有中餐馆。如同其他有的酒店一样，这家酒店客房有取暖设施但没有空调，夏天可能感觉闷热。

The food choice in the restaurant was very limited.

Pet friendly hotel whose public areas and amenities are very good with a recently refurbished gym and a pool . The rooms are a little dated but All the staff were friendly and helpful and we thought the hotel was good value for money as it’s very centrally located in Kendal and only a of minutes walk from the shopping area . It also has its own covered parking which is included. We will stay again

The room was clean and the river view was great. We had no tv for 2 nights because the staff could not locate the remote . We booked dinner before we arrived .x we were celebrating a birthday and the online dinners looked amazing …. In the riverside restaurant . I was told 7 pm was fully booked . We had a choice to book 6pm or 8 pm . We booked 8 pm …. Arrived at riverside restaurant to be told there was a private function ?? We had to go to the tannery .. they had no booking for us !! They gave a menu …. Not much was available and we had to settle for something from a very limited choice . It was not nicely presented …… all in all it was quite disgusting . On hind sight we should have sent it back . The breakfast was fine . I would not stay here again or recommend the hotel to anyone due to the misleading menu online and our disastrous birthday dinner .

Friendly staff, hotel lobby and bar nice. Rooms are a little dated. Been a while since I’ve seen single use shower gels and shampoo in a hotel. Maybe dispensers would be more Environmentally friendly.

Room was big - one double and one single bed. Very comfortable though the fixtures and fittings were looking a little tired. That said the hotel is getting refurbished so I expect it to improve. Breakfast was buffet style which was reasonably good. Plenty of drinks hot and cold (fruit juice), cereals etc. Only comment was the tables were sticky - I suspect the antibac spray they use was the cause - could do with washing them with soapy water occasionally. Refurbished gym, pool and bar area. Staff were great - especially the housekeeping crew. Well located centrally and a few minutes to the town centre. Would visit again.

The hotel was lovely however not their fault but our neighbours room 407 which was an adjoining room to ours came in very late and had a very loud argument- this then continued at 8am this morning- we were coming for a leisurely break- early dinner with friends and a lie in- sadly we have come home worn out and needing a nap!!!

Great central location, free car parking, warm friendly staff, restaurant food was very good and the Spar/Pool/Gym facilities were excellent.

Very tired hotel. Terrible pillows. Don’t have breakfast - low quality food. Tables sticky.

Uncomfortable stay. I could feel the springs in the bed and it was far too soft. Felt like I was sleeping on the base. Although was very clean but outdated. Breakfast was very basic. Wasn’t to my liking with the hard crispy hash browns and rubbery mushrooms.

We had a lovely stay un a family room. Could do with updating in the room. A couple of things was broken(bath mixer fell iff and was moldy) also the drawes trim was hanging off. Otherwise clean and well topped up with supplies. Had everything we needed. Lots if clean towels too. Couldn't use the pool due to it been very small and alway over crowded. Bat/restaurant was nice, food was ok but disappointed with the fish&chips, fish was a suze of a fish finger. All staff was polite and friendly. Beautiful part of the lake district. I would highly recommend.

Good location on the river and room had river view. Room adequate but needed modernising. Dinner in bar was good. However breakfast room was a bit tired. Food was adequate. Availability of swimming pool was a bonus

Hadde en fint opphold i vakre Kendal. Hotellet ligger sentralt til ved jernbanen, og med gangavstand til Kendal Castle, sentrum og idyllisk plassert ved elven.

Love this hotel! It’s gorgeous our room had a view of the river and it was just so peaceful and the room was really clean and had everything we needed. The lady at reception was so friendly and was so helpful. We will definitely be staying again

Comfortable rooms and clean bathroom. However the room was dusty and had spider webs all over including the lights. Staff were super friendly and breakfast was spot on. Location was great and free parking was a great perk

Very central location with the added benefit of free car parking
