A real gem of an hotel in London. Friendly, helpful staff, clean , well appointed , comfortable room and super breakfast.Will definitely stay again if we have need to be near Hammersmith/Kensington again

This hotel is phenomenal. The location was easy access to bus stops and the tube. It is close to several restaurants and grocery stores.
The hotel is gorgeous with historical significance. There is a lovely park on one side of the hotel. We loved the full length drapes that offered true blackout. The tub was oversized and the shower had plenty of hot water. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water, a Nespresso, and an electric tea kettle. The front desk helped us with all questions and set up an excellent taxi for the airport. We plan to return soon!

Nice hotel well presented, strange shape room and bed as we were in the attic. Would be nice to have a more varied choice of tea and coffee.
But everything we needed was available. A bottle of water would have been appreciated as London water is not the nicest or coolest…

Room clean. Bathroom was excellent. Staff were good. While building has an interesting history, it is not close to underground, many restaurants or have other amenities in line with room cost.

Surprisingly really quiet considering how busy the streets area around the hotel. The option for an early check-in wasn't really a thing but the breakfast was really good for the value. Also, had dinner there was well randomly which was pretty good too. The bar wasn't open very late so there wasn't much of an option for late night drinks but either way it was a really nice stay.

Booked a junior deluxe suite and was very disappointed in size of room .
Room 24 in main building was dark with a window high up in the eaves . Looked nothing like the light filled rooms on the booking photo
Additionally you could hear the water from toilets flushing , showers and sinks from the room above
Fine for one night but felt like it was a bait and switch for room received vs photos
