The check in experience was excellent, everything clearly explained and very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. A big disappointment was that on returning to the hotel at just after 11 pm the bar was closed and we were unable to have a night cap. The member of staff we spoke to was very abrupt, whereas all the other staff we had met were very engaging. This is why we have marked the hotel down, Other wise the stay was great.

The St. Paul house was a charming hotel with local flare. The quaint house with a back garden space was lovely. Some value adds might be a hair dryer😊. The continental breakfast and the optional breakfast menus was delicious. I especially enjoyed the backyard patio with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The hotel itself was fine, bordering on excellent. But, - and it's a big but - something that always gets my goat, is excess heating that wouldn't turn off. So it's the hottest day of the year, 24 degrees, and the bathroom heating is on so much it's like a sauna in there. We call reception and get told there's a seperate control for that. Which there is, but that doesn't work. So reception guy says he'll get maintenance to turn it off. This is 2pm. We go out and leave it in their hands, get back at midnight, guess what the heating is still on full blast. Had to sleep with a window open in middle of city so then too noisy. This is completely crazy, waste of money (to the hotel!) And environmentally disgusting. And the cherry on top? The air con unit had been disabled....

We enjoyed the hotel. The staff were lovely, especially Kavi and Viki who were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from Hammersmith underground and bus stops close to the hotel which provided great transport links to London city and the surrounding area. The breakfast, which was included for us, was ideal to get you going in the morning. The hotel was clean with some lovely period features and one thousand whisky’s. The only issue we had was a bit of a damp smell coming from the shower. Given London prices we felt it was value for money and we would stay again.

The hotel is old and lovely, in a good location between Kensington Olympia and Hammersmith. There are bus stops right outside. We stayed in the Churchill Suite, which was very nice. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a smoky smell upon entering the room although it's a non-smoking property. Plus, it's in the basement and there were a lot of creaking sounds from the ceiling. All the usual amenities were provided but there was no sign of the bathrobes! We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.

This hotel is phenomenal. The location was easy access to bus stops and the tube. It is close to several restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel is gorgeous with historical significance. There is a lovely park on one side of the hotel. We loved the full length drapes that offered true blackout. The tub was oversized and the shower had plenty of hot water. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water, a Nespresso, and an electric tea kettle. The front desk helped us with all questions and set up an excellent taxi for the airport. We plan to return soon!
