Fantastic hotel on the outskirts of the city centre. You’re able to take a nice walk into town. We passed the train station on the way into the city centre so easily walkable from there. It’s close to the curve theatre and the parking is included. The breakfast was very good. The staff here were lovely and made this a place I would return to stay at.

Great location, easy walking distance of city, and train station. Free parking was the main attraction, unusual so close to a city centre. Lots oof bars and restaurants, just around the corner. We loved Leicester.
There was a fan in the bedroom, which was fine as it wasn't hot while we were there, but in next week's heat, I think the rooms will be too hot?

Clean room. Great facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. Smiles, greetings and politeness from reception staff, cleaners and restaurant staff. The breakfast was nice. Pastries slightly overcooked this time. Good choice of food and you can have your eggs cooked how you want. If I stayed again I would request a room at the back (facing car park) like the last time I stayed as much quieter. Great location to explore Leicester.

Great location next to the station. Nice building, with a cool, old-timey vibe. It felt like a traditional British hotel - I was visiting with a bunch of Canadians who appreciated that. The bar was a good amenity. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable (I put my handbag on the bed and we laughed that it basically sunk it), the shower didn't work (it was some weird electric shower thing, so I had to go and use the shower in a friend's room), and the door didn't shut/lock. But it was pretty good value, so I'd probably stay again if I ever found myself in Leicester.

Stayed here for one night and we weren’t disappointed. We stayed in a superior double room which was a lovely large room, extremely comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely view. The room didn’t have air conditioning so got very warm due to the recent heatwave but there was a fan so it was ok and was beyond the hotel’s control. It was a very short walk to the theatre and the centre which was very convenient. Breakfast was lovely, the restaurant staff were so friendly and efficient which was also the case for the reception staff.
Free parking at the hotel which is always a bonus. Overall a lovely traditional hotel which we would most definitely recommend.

The room could use a good cleaning, especially around the windows and lights. The junior suite lacked air conditioning so a fan was provided on request. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location offering a peaceful night’s sleep, plenty of restaurants and helpful friendly staff. I asked for extra water which was provided but it would be better if it was always available in the room given the hot weather. The sink water is drinkable but I’m not comfortable with that. There’s plenty of parking space although I didn’t use a car and I’m sure you can register with the hotel if you do. Overall, it’s worth checking out and some modernisation and cleaning would be nice in a suite. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to wake up early for breakfast on my last night because I had a late night and the hotel staff were wonderful enough to give me a late check out. However, my sleep was broken by staff calling me to check in which was a bit irritating since I had already confirmed a late check-in before I went to bed. Why would you call a guest staying then apologise for waking them up? It’s a bit daft.

everything was fine although the interior is a little dated.
however the stay was completely let down because the actual mattress was SO uncomfortable I could barely sleep. think "wire sticking into your back" no matter where you try and position yourself on it.
get those replaced and you've got a lovely hotel with very nice staff.
