High quality traditional style hotel that has remained constantly good value over the decades and a Leicester institution.

Lovely big room with everything we needed. We did have a step into the bathroom which customers need to be aware of. Bathroom was super clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We needed to check in early and our bags were kept safely although our room was ready for us soon after our arrival.
Breakfast was great value for money. Tea and coffee was served at the table with continental or full English options available.
Had a drink outside on the street side terrace in the sunshine before walking to the Curve theatre/city centre which is approximately a ten minute walk away. The bar was open on our return later in the evening and served our party a good variety of drinks including cocktails and tea and coffee.
Overall a lovely welcoming experience and would recommend if you’re looking for a city break.

This retro-styled hotel is tranquil and charming and staffed by a professionsl team. This place is a real break from the formulaic chsin hotels. The decor may make you feel as if you are in the game Cluedo! The breakfast is excellent value and the location on New Walk is so restful. Highly recommend!
