Pleasant warm room with lovely bathroom , toiletries and plenty of towels Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and comfy bed and a sofa to sit on. Lovely lounge and food both at breakfast and later for dinner in the evening.

A warm and welcoming greeting on arrival always makes for a good stay. Room was spacious, comfortable, clean and well presented.....well done Dolly....power shower excellent... All the staff were top notch

A great hotel, very close to the railway station and the centre of Leicester with very good parking facilities. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was certainly worth pre booking, great value. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and to stay here again.

Stayed 1 night. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room is lovely and nice little touches like bottles of water in the room. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, nothing was too much trouble. I’ve booked to return for 2 nights in December

The great value rooms

Very conveniently located hotel with plenty of FREE parking. The rooms are a bit dated but sparklingly clean. Will stay again.

Traffic-free walk into the centre, courteous and helpful reception and a very spacious room that lacked for nothing. As well as free on-site parking, as advertised, which is fast becoming a rarity. Highly recommend and we would definitely book again if staying in the area.

Easy to locate close to the city centre. Car park is a little awkward, but there is an overflow which had more room. Received a very warm welcome at reception with good instructions. It was a bit of a maze to find our room. This hotel has been expanded over the years so there are lots of odd little stairs and corridors. All adds to the quaintness. Our room was very spacious, clean with a good sized bathroom. Wifi was a bit hit and miss, but connected ok in the end. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Portions were large and the fish and chips were very tasty. Location is great for De Montford Hall which is only a 10 minute walk away. We had drinks at the bar before going back to our rooms. The bar closes at 11 pm which seems early, but this is now common in a lot of hotels. The bed was huge and very cosy. We didn't notice any noise during the night. Breakfast has both a hot and cold buffet selection along with cooked to order choices. I went for the eggs benedict which was very good. We had a very enjoyable stay and will be happy to return for any future concerts at De Montford Hall.
