A lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms, delicious food. I’ve stayed here many times and never been disappointed.

Hotel and staff excellent

The room could use a good cleaning, especially around the windows and lights. The junior suite lacked air conditioning so a fan was provided on request. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location offering a peaceful night’s sleep, plenty of restaurants and helpful friendly staff. I asked for extra water which was provided but it would be better if it was always available in the room given the hot weather. The sink water is drinkable but I’m not comfortable with that. There’s plenty of parking space although I didn’t use a car and I’m sure you can register with the hotel if you do. Overall, it’s worth checking out and some modernisation and cleaning would be nice in a suite. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to wake up early for breakfast on my last night because I had a late night and the hotel staff were wonderful enough to give me a late check out. However, my sleep was broken by staff calling me to check in which was a bit irritating since I had already confirmed a late check-in before I went to bed. Why would you call a guest staying then apologise for waking them up? It’s a bit daft.

everything was fine although the interior is a little dated. however the stay was completely let down because the actual mattress was SO uncomfortable I could barely sleep. think "wire sticking into your back" no matter where you try and position yourself on it. get those replaced and you've got a lovely hotel with very nice staff.

Hotel with individual charm. Large room. All the expected amenities. Good breakfast. Located by New Walk providing green route into heart of Leicester.

The breakfast menu offered everything one might be looking for. We had the cold buffet which temptingly displayed and delicious.

Nice hotel, good value located on the New Walk that we loved. Quiet location and hotel. Looks like it could do with investment in the property and furniture.

Great location, cooked breakfast and free parking.

Our stay at the Belmont was very pleasant. The check in procedure was simple. Reception staff were helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location on New Walk, both for the city centre and Victoria Park area. We had room service on our last night. The food was delicious and decent value. Overall a great stay.

As ever, the Belmont is a wonderful hotel with friendly helpful staff. Always immaculately clean a hotel that serves wholesome value for money food whether it be a snack lunch or evening meal. We always stay at this hotel when we watched Leicester Tigers play and would recommend it to anyone even the opposition fans.
