Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out.

Very clean, staff were friendly and helpful, food was good. All we needed for a one night stay.

I chose the Frampton Arms for location, style, and parking. All of those needs were met well. Evening dinning was good, food and service very agreeable. Breakfast was disappointing, since I interpreted "Breakfast Included" to mean English Breakfast. Instead, I had to make my own toast; hardly breakfast included. I booked two rooms, and one of them was fine. The other had the room door directly onto the courtyard of the bar, which was very disruptive during the day, and in the evening. For my stay, the noise did die down quickly after 10pm, but I prefer peace before that, and I imagine some nights the disturbance carries on later. For some it might be fine, but guests should be warned, and offered a more peaceful room if requested.

We stayed in classic double room and it was tiny but immaculately clean. The door had a massive gap at the top so a lot of the noise came in but nothing too loud only the odd train! The bed was comfy with a choice of soft or hard pillows which was nice. The shower hose was too shortly for the average person so couldn’t really stand and wash your hair. The shower screen was also not tall enough so I would have soaked the floor. The staff were lovely, just needed more of them as there was a wait to check in and quite a wait at the bar for a drink. Breakfast was basic but perfectly sufficient

Everything was great, just as well the weather was fine as access to the room was external, the use of the courtyard by customers didn't pose a problem.

The room was clean and on good condition, as was the en suite bathroom. The food in the pub/restaurant was good and reasonably priced. It's a free house. The property is near a railwsy; but we didn't hear the trains from our room.

Great little hotel above a pub. Riom was clean apart from some mould in the shower. The bed was comfy but wasnt king size as advertised. Breakfast was continental and good. Overall good value and friendly staff.

Would have gotten 4-5 stars. But the noise levels going through the floor is bad. Went to bed, but could hear music, thought from outside as I didn't recall music in the bar. As I couldn't sleep, I went for a smoke. The music level down stairs was low. They really need to move the speakers and use sound dampening insulation. Was sort of expecting cooked breakfast which it wasn't. My son had a room at the other end of the building and said the same as me, except he had the train line there

This is an average b and b .Our room was very close to a communal square of the pub which meant people could be ( and were ) literally right outside of our room - so very little privacy . Also you could hear their conversations as they were so close . Very small but nevertheless clean room with one small window which you couldn’t really draw the net curtain as people would see in . So felt very cramped and boxed in . Not quite the room I expected from what I saw originally in the picture . The pub garden was a large expanse of lawn with not one single flower or shrub . So not the idyllic country pub we imagined - shame, as it has all the potential. Having said all that the staff were all very nice and welcoming - happy to supply us with plant based milk etc . But if it’s luxury you want you sadly won’t find it here .

Convenient and comfortable stay before we embarked on our Ferry to go to Guernsey.

Good food, good room and friendly staff Excellent value

Friendly welcome and a very comfortable, quiet room. Food was good quality and value for money. Great continental breakfast selection included in the room rate. Service in the evening for dinner was slow, but the food was worth the wait. Minor issues with mould in the shower room.

The bedroom was spotless and a,decent size. The shower was excellent and the towels large and fluffy. We ate in the restaurant and i ordered a southern fried chicken burger, which turned out to be chicken strips! My wife had a smashed burger, and found paper in her burger, which put her off. When we told them she was offered a free drink, but we were ready to leave so she said no thank you. They didnt even take the money off for the drink she had. Seeking as the paper in her burger meant she didnt eat it all some money off or a free pudding would have gone a ling way.
