Initially, there was a hygienic issue. After a chat with the staff, the problem was rectified. Nice rooms.

The hotel is pretty tired. Some basic facilities were not working . I think they should have said the Air Con was broken. The fan in our bathroom didn’t work. The shower head wasn’t functioning very well and WiFi was intermittent. Was a good location though and some of the staff were helpful.

Central for old town and the main shopping street. Easy for bus and tram to move around the city too.

Always happy to stay here when I visit Nice; great staff, very comfortable, perfect location.

We have used this hotel 4 times, but this time it was very disappointing. Safe was not working and we asked the staff numerous days/times to come & fix it,but nobody did. We gave up in the end. Couple of more issues: dirty pillows, shower didn’t work properly, broken window blind and over all the room was very tired and furniture scratched. The only good this was their breakfast, which was excellent!

In an excellent location across a small park from the old town and a short walk to the beach. The hotel had a very good selection for breakfast which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The bedrooms were clean and brightly decorated, and the bathrooms modern. There is a great view from the rooftop bar and pool.

Great location, friendly staff and calm atmosphere

Very friendly and professional staff. Location was perfect for the centre of Nice. Room was warm and cleaned daily. Balcony view over the Xmas market and Massena square was wonderful.

Had a very pleasant 4 night stay in the Aston. Hotel location is fantastic - minutes from the sea-front, the old town and also the main shopping areas. Hotel itself was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Did find their rooftop Bar was very expensive though - but lots of others in the old town to sample instead! Would recommend as a great venue

Third visit to this hotel. Great location, very helpful staff. Rooms comfortable. Good breakfast lots to choose from. Amazing views from rooftop bar.

Great location and good rooftop

We really liked this property except for one thing. The toilet in our bathroom was almost unusable because there was a second unneeded shower in the bathroom. There was virtually no legroom at all.

Excellent Hotel very nice and friendly staff,

Good hotel close to both old town and the bigger shopping area. Great and friendly staff. Rooftop was amazing. Does not have a private beach like Expedia says.

This is not a 4* hotel. When we arrived we were given a room which had blood on the walls, a broken toilet, broken door and a porter who had a key to access all of the rooms and just let himself in. This was part of our honeymoon trip and within minutes I was quite prepared to check out and leave had we been able to get a flight out. We spoke to the front desk who moved our room but it just felt uneasy all the time, the key was the main issue for me. I know the cleaning team have a key but it was the porter just letting himself in which really shocked me. The breakfast was okay as it was included in the price but I wouldn’t have paid extra for it as the choice of hot food was limited. There is major building work happening next door and at the time there was an Ironman event in the gardens opposite so all we could hear was the set up and preparation. It may have been 4* many years ago but it is definitely not now.

Parking is a disaster , rude receptionists , very noisy , dirty rooms! Total scam it is not a 4 star hotel

Good central location Breakfast was good Bathroom Was so odd - shower so close to the toilet you couldn’t sit on the toilet straight! Pool very disappointing This place doesn’t look like the photos
