A three star rated hotel but reality is more like a nice 2 star.

Check in was quick and efficient, the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. Room has got everything a room need, it was clean.

The hotel is located in a very central area, making walking to the main attractions very easy. The hotel facilities were average and good for a cheap stay but no kettle or fridge etc. Staff were polite and friendly but the biggest let down was the thin room walls which meant we could hear conversations and snoring from other rooms.

I have stayed a few times at this place and it is very good: clean, comfortable, close to the centre and good value for money.

The location was great for walkability, but homeless sleep outside the front door, there are 2 locked doors you need to ge through to get inside which feels dodgy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the building smelt like cigarettes, the lock on my room didn’t work, the paint was peeling, floor was chipped and the lights in the room felt very clinical. Thankfully I was only there one night. I read more reviews and it sounds like some ppl had belongings stolen so I brought my suitcase to a storage facility for the day while I walked around town just in case.

The hotel is situated perfectly if you are looking to explore the City centre. However, our room was ridiculously small. If it had a single bed, and was sold as a single room it would have been adequate. But with a double bed, and two people in the room, with luggage, it simply wasn't big enough to even function properly. We felt it was poor.

Amazing staff, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very clean and great choice for breakfast. I will come back.

Great location. Safe and close to everything, budget hotel with small rooms

The walls were thin. On the first night, I could hear the conversation from an adjoining room in the early hours of the morning.

The room was hot and the hotel is extremely noisy. You hear people walking above you and doors shutting with complete clarity. The shower was also disappointing (bad water pressure and temperature). For the price, it’s adequate but, I think for another 20-30 EUR you can do much better.

The hotel is very basic but it is clean and central. The entrance is not ideal. We left for our evening meal and were greeted by locals taking drugs and urinating! I would not stay here again

First room very hot, window sealed and had a bad smell but we were moved at our request next day to a very nice room. Nice friendly staff. Excellent location

Staff friendly and helpful. Entrance to the hotel is not the most inviting. Room was really small (obviously I didn't read the spec well enough) but clean and quiet. Breakfast on the first day was overcrowded (but just the luck of the draw with timing).

Ideal base to explore Lille. Handy central location, clean room. Friendly staff. Recommended.
