皇家奥林匹克酒店

訂酒店前看到網上的評論，有點擔心酒店會不會太舊，服務員服務質素會否不好。入住後發覺酒店比評論所指好多了。部份硬件感覺有點舊，但絕對可以舒適地入住。前台的服務亦不錯。 最好的地方仍然是其位置，可以步行十五分鐘內前往大部份主要景點，附近亦有不少好餐廳。

Hotel is very well situated with easy access for exploring Athens. Rooftop restaurant has a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Many tour groups use the hotel which makes mornings and afternoons very busy in the lobby, and in the restaurant for breakfast before 8. The decor is dated and very traditional, but the bed was comfortable even if the pillows were thin and should be replaced.

Great view of the Parthenon! The restaurant was very good. When we return to Athens this will be our hotel.

Very accomodating, close to Acropolis and port (cruise). Fabulous restaurant. Perfect for our short stay in Athens.

We went for our anniversary and messaged the hotel well in advance to ask if they would do something nice, nothing. Even when we asked at the front desk, they claimed they hadn't received anything, even though they had responded! The room lacked in a lot of ways, no tea/coffee making facilities, the shower tray filled up with water, so you had to wait 10 mins for it to drain. For the amount we spent for two nights, you expect more than just a nice view. The pool was closed, there a lack of ambience its a shame really

Lovely room - upgraded to a suite (regular rooms are the usual small European accommodations). Very nice staff. Great location adjacent the Plaka. Lively rooftop bar/restaurant overlooking the Acropolis.

Nice stay, location is good and close to main sights.

Unfortunately we did not had the best experience in this hotel. Rooms are very dated- especially the bathroom- toilet sit was half broken. There is no kettle in the room and no option to get free hot water. TV remote control did not work unless you put the volume up and there were issues with wi fi in the room.Breakfast was ok and breakfast staff very nice. My 10 years old daughter left her wallet in the room with 50 euros inside. When we came back the money was gone. It was partially our fault as we should use a safe box. When we spoke to the reception staff their response was that we should put it in a safe box and they were not bothered about it. It was upsetting for my daughter especially as it was her pocket money… So pls make sure you don’t leave any money in the room! Just to add the view from the roof terrace was lovely and location was good. Athens are beautiful. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel.

Helpful staff, clean room and plentiful breakfast

Our room was a good size, clean, with a large comfortable double bed. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all helpful, polite and friendly. The rooftop restaurant and bar is a delight. This was our 4th stay at the hotel. If you visit in the summer the pool is a real bonus.

Läget på hotellet väldigt bra och rum mot poolen perfekt. Bra frukost men tevattnet var ljummet, bad om varmt, fick nytt men det var inte bättre!

Breakfast was delicious and staff was very welcoming and helpful. Bar had a large variety of drinks. Location can’t be beat, it’s close to restaurants, shopping, and historical sites. Room was beautiful and spacious.

We upgraded to a suite and I was so surprised when there’s no coffee machine or even a water kettle. No ironing board and iron. The AC wasn’t working and we were sweating like crazy. We had to open our windows so we can sleep at night despite the noise and sirens outside. The entire hotel is so outdated specially the rooms. They really need to fix their air conditioning system.

Everything was good except for the room. It was a very old room. The TV, the hairdryer, and the plugs (only 2 plugs in the room).
