Breakfasy was great! The cleanliness of the rooms and entire property is what needs special commendation. The room and hotel was spotless. And I am pretty picky. The staff spoke good English and was very friendly.

Clean room, good staff, excellent location, large property, reasonable price. Bed and room temperature were very comfortable. Breakfast selection was bland and substandard compared to comparable hotels. Decor is dated. Wifi and signal reception was poor and problematic. Need a big upgrade from the 80s decor at some point and stronger signal.

So breakfast was great. Jim is not usable and very minimal. It will help to have a nice gym in a smaller one on the property. Also, there was no coffee option in the room. We want to make tea in the middle of the night. A coffee maker is a must.

Staff was amazing

Rooms were cozy, elegant and the staff was beyond amazing. My wife and I will be visiting again.

Rooms were small and outdated. Doesn’t look like the pictures. Pool was closed but looks nice. The staff were friendly. The rooftop was nice.

The hotel is beautiful but the room didn’t have AC.

Good hotel for big groups Good location But very old hotel very dark rooms no lights on the ceiling in bedrooms only side lamps. Needs a total revamp.

The location near tourist sites can’t be better. Hotel is upscale though rooms sizes and conditions vary between visits depending on booking rates. The room pictures may not be what you’ll get. Rooftop restaurant and breakfast are nice.

Older hotel but cannot beat the location opposite Zeus temple and 3min from Plaka, Hadrians gate, close to all tour bus departures and acropolis metro/ Acropolis & museum Spar/ AB express shop close by Rooms comfortable however some rooms not yet renovated so aircon not effective Breakfast tasty but limited variation

It is not a five-star hotel, it is closer to a three-star property. The rooms and bathrooms are in need of deep renovation. The TV is outdated, offers only a few channels, and the picture quality is poor. There were issues with the window and with the air-conditioning. The safe battery also needs to be replaced. On the positive side, the closed terrace on the 7th floor is very nice and offers a gorgeous view of the Acropolis. Overall, the value for money is average.

Old hotels room smells. Services is poor and food not good. Shower head keep falling, plus only two power outlets. .

Great view but hotel bedding didn’t feel clean.

The front desk staff in the lobby and the staff working the rooftop restaurant for dinner were extremely rude and require a class in Effective Customer Service 101. I have made a career in customer service for the past 20 years and I have never experienced such disrespect in a service oriented staff. Our room’s a/c had a bad convector which sounded like a mini jackhammer and our bathroom toilet leaked sewage. When we ask for compensation, the front desk staff didn’t even apologize to us but said we would need to take it up with our travel agent (I.e., Expedia). Expedia rep was amazing but the hotel manager refused to provide us with any compensation. Lastly, our experience at the rooftop restaurant for dinner was just as awful. For such a premium cost, we were hoping for decent service which it was not. Waited a full hour for both a refill on our waters and for our finished dinner plates to be removed to receive our bill. During this time, we tried looking ant the servers to motion them over to us, tried physically gesturing for service, and lastly vocalizing. Only after the bill came and we paid it, the manager stop by and asked how our dinner was. We explained the severe lack of service (almost as if we were invisible) along with my husband’s rack of lamb being completely overcooked and dry (after our food was served earlier, no one ever checked on us regarding our food).The manager was unapologetic and stated nothing can be done since bill was paid. Not even an apology.
