Spent a long time researching Pisa hotels and The Grand seemed a good choice .
Was delighted after our stay …on arrival got checked in early @ 11.30 .
The hotel is very clean and quite quaint and we were given a lovely room on the 3rd flooor looking out directly at the Tower ….could not ask for better !! Position is fantastic gave us the chance to visit the Tower area at early morning and at night .
Breakfast room large and selection generous and good choice .
Lovely rooftop bar to look out at Miracole area….book a table in advance to eat there .
Staff get 100% so friendly and attentive and full of information . Also big plus was a mini bus transfer to airport at 8am for €20 for 2people .
Great hotel will stay here if back in Pisa. Highly recommended.

Extremelly lack of fresh air in the rooms. There is no ventilation in the rooms unless you open up the "balcony door" (there is no balcony), but doing that let a lot of mosquitoes getting in and really ruined my body.
Except for that (huge problem) everything was very good.

The hotel is very central which is fantastic.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very nice albeit limited in choice. But fresh and tasty.
The hotel is old and could do with updating.
However, the price was good, location was perfect, it was lovely and clean and the bed was comfy.
I would recommend and would happily stay again.

The hotel is in a very central location with views of the leaning tower - it’s great to be able to walk around the key areas straight from the hotel. However - I’m not sure 4* is a fair reflection. The rooms and public areas are badly in need of an upgrades. Another point to consider is that driving into the hotel is a nightmare - avoid! We had a place in the car garage at the hotel which they helped us to find (very kindly)- but was very tight and the roads are to be avoided. We also had to leave our hire car key with reception in case they needed to move the car - which we were not happy about.

A great place to access the best tourist spots in Pisa as it is so close.
Can be somewhat noisy in the evenings and nights because the windows do not shut out the noise on the busy tourist street below.
The quality of the wifi is disappointingly poor.

Around the corner the leaning tower of Pisa. We booked the hotel for the great view from the terrace, not knowing that the terrace is closed until mid-April. The weather was great though, so the hotel could have put seats there for guests to sit on, even if they were not serving food or drinks. Otherwise the rooms are dated, beds hard and the bathroom smelt of urine. Lot of noise from the street, especially what sounded like recycling/rubbish vans in the early morning. Breakfast was good with a variety of cold options with boiled egg, bacon, sausages & scrambled eggs as hot options. Dinner choices nearby are very touristy.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We like the convenience and location of this hotel and also the great breakfast options. Staff (especially in the restaurant) are super friendly and efficient. Reception were good and happily booked us a taxi. We had 2 rooms and the only real negative was that one of the rooms (220) smelt really bad of drains and the fan in the bathroom was really squeaky. The rooms were close so we didn’t want to move rooms.

Hotel is superbly situated for the tower.
Hotel is exceptionally clean with a comfortable bed.
Staff helpful.
Breakfast very nice.
Only downside was that the room was tired with ill fitting internal and cupboard doors.
Also tea making facilities would be appreciated.
Would recommend the hotel.
