We had the pleasure staying at Hotel Calimala this past September. It was wonderful. Clean, safe, ideal location and a friendly staff. When we return to Florence, we will certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay during Christmas. Our flight was cancelled and we didn’t get in until the next morning but the staff was so accommodating and able to get us in our room right away. The room was lovely and even though we were there during a busy time, once the windows were closed, the room was pretty quiet. If we ever find ourselves in Florence again, we’ll definitely stay here.

This hotel is located very well in the shopping district close to the main Cathedral. The facility is very nice, new, and clean. I really care about cleanliness and this place is spotless. like this hotel better than the 5star hotel I stayed in at Milan. And the restaurants (rooftop and Meze) serve amazing food. If I visit Florence again, I am returning to this hotel.

Room: We stayed in the family room. It’s small, but the decor is beautiful. You can hear street noise and drunk people at night. Didn’t bother me at all.

Amazing expansive, beautify designed room with incedible details. Truly a sight to see and as comfortable as it was stunning. Large beautiful marble wall and floor bathroom. The entire hotel was simply amazing. The staff was perfect. Everyone was incedibly helpful and a delight to interact with. The lobby staff gave us some incredible recommendations for dinner at Osterias locals enjoy. Best steak I've ever had. We cant wait to come back.
