This hotel is located very well in the shopping district close to the main Cathedral. The facility is very nice, new, and clean. I really care about cleanliness and this place is spotless. like this hotel better than the 5star hotel I stayed in at Milan. And the restaurants (rooftop and Meze) serve amazing food. If I visit Florence again, I am returning to this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Very central and decent value for a top tier and location hotel. The airline lost my bags for a week and the staff were very helpful with toiletries and recommending where to go to buy replacement clothes etc. Lobby bar is great and rooftop bar is beautiful

Great place to stay! Clean and chic. In a safe part of town and convenient. Also, very quiet which is a plus! The lobby bartender makes amazing drinks too so highly recommend.

Very nice accommodation. Modern and clean rooms. Good options for drinks and dining. Location is excellent for taking in everything in Florence. Only drawback was the thin walls and ceiling that allowed noise transfer quite easily.

I stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s 50 th birthday. The hotel has a fabulous location, bang in the centre of the city and it really couldn’t be more central. The lobby bar and the reception are really exquisitely decorated. We had an executive suite in the west building. The suite was as advertised. Lovely furnishings and lots of space. A comfortable large bed with nice bed linen. The room felt airy and bright which I loved.In respect of the room, there was a bit lacking in terms of providing water in the room. Apparently only the first day the water is free which personally I think is tight given we were staying in a suite. However, we had to ask twice for a refill of water to the mini bar in our room. We did get one free alcoholic drink at the bar at check in which I thought was a great touch. I would also add that the air con didn’t seem to be fully functioning. The room wasn’t that cold although they did offer a 10% discount for this. Staff wise - I can’t say there was any personal touch or acknowledgement to celebrate my husband’s birthday. . Not even a happy birthday on the tv screen when we checked in. Just his name. I booked the roof top bar which was ok. I also booked breakfast for us both one day at 44 euros which I thought was very expensive given the limited choice and it was a bit disorganised. Overall a lovely stay, with some area for improvement to make the hotel amazing.

We loved this hotel! The location was perfect! Our room was nice and spacious and very clean! We will definitely stay here again!! You cannot beat this location!

We had an overall wonderful experience at Hotel Calimala. The rooms were gorgeous, and clean. The staff was friendly, and helpful . The rooftop bar was spectacular and we loved Nadini, the daytime manager, who was a lovely, impressive person. She added immensely to the wonderful experience we had. We hope to come back to Florence some day. We will be sure to stay at Hotel Calimala when we do!

No dejen que el lobby los engañe. El hotel es fantástico: excelentes instalaciones, un rooftop maravilloso para tomar algo y comer rico viendo el atardecer desde arriba. El staff me ayudó muchísimo con el tema del internet. Está perfectamente ubicado, porque, salvo el taxi desde la estación del tren (a 10 minutos), se puede ir todos los sitios históricos a pie, caminando máximo 15 minutos

we loved calimala! it was the perfect location right near all of the sites and shopping but still a quieter location. ANGEL rooftop was perfection with the best view of the city. we hope to be coming back!!

The PERFECT LOCATION. Room was beautifully designed and the rooftop was amazing !!! The food was delicious and I would Absolutely visit again.

Great location to tour and shop

The location was perfect, room and restaurant and bar areas were just fantastic. So well designed and stunning! The bar staff were brilliant mixologists with Maximillion being stand out. Staff couldn’t help enough with restaurant suggestions and information. Perfect stay and would go again.

Staff was excellent and kind and the room and property was kept spotless and quiet for such an incredible location. Highly recommend
