Staying at Sant’Angelo was like stepping into a dream. The hotel is carved into the ancient stone of the Sassi, and every corner feels like a piece of living history. Our room was beautifully designed, blending the cave’s natural textures with elegant touches and modern comfort. The views over Piazza San Pietro Caveoso were breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They helped us with bookings and local recommendations, and made our stay feel truly special and luxurious. Their warmth and professionalism added so much to the experience. The location made it easy to explore the winding alleys and nearby landmarks on foot. We left feeling like we’d experienced something truly unique and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the soul of Matera.

少有人第一次到義大利就到過Matera，就是這個念頭，我們風塵僕僕地來到這裏，只因這裏有Sassi文化遺產，還有附近的 Trulli。老實說，Sant' Angelo不好找到，reception的地點有改變過，我們費了好久時間，ㄧ直到現在，我們還是擔心會不會誤闖了ZTL？見到洞穴屋的第一個感覺只有「哇」，很興奮，也很驚奇，甚至馬上跟台灣的好友ㄧ家人FaceTime分享。裡面很乾淨，浴室的水柱也很強，真的要挑剔的是床和棉被都有小小粒的砂子，但這是難免的，洞穴屋不就是這樣嗎。飯店內沒有免費停車，這跟訂房時Hotels.com上寫的不同，代客泊車的費用記得是26歐。請記得提早一小時前order取車，因為動作真的很慢。洞穴屋的本身真的很棒，值得親自體驗。
