I recently stayed at Tribe for a conference, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nestled right next to the upscale Village Mall, this modern and chic hotel boasts a stunning design enhanced by striking African art. Everything was impeccably maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The a la carte breakfast included with my stay was absolutely delicious, and having club lounge access was a fantastic perk. The lounge offered a delightful breakfast with an omelette bar and transformed into a vibrant space for happy hour, featuring creative cocktails and tasty appetizers each evening. Dining at Jiko, the hotel’s restaurant, was a highlight, showcasing mouthwatering modern African cuisine. My only minor complaints would be that the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally unreliable, and the beautiful pool was unheated, making it quite chilly. Overall, Tribe is a fantastic choice for a stylish and comfortable stay!

We had the pleasure of spending several days in Nairobi at the Tribe. As first time visitors of Kenya our family of four from Canada with two young adult daughters, we were a bit nervous as to what to expect with Nairobi but we couldn’t have been luckier than to have selected the Tribe (it was highly recommended to us). The staff there are kind, friendly and professional. Best of all, we were introduced to Jeff, our driver and guide who was recommended by the hotel. From the moment we met Jeff he made us feel completely safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. He didn’t just drive us around—he welcomed us like family. We used the Tribe as a hub between safaris and a trip to Tanzania’s mainland and Zanzibar. With Jeff as our reliable contact in Nairobi for each of our multiple airport drop offs, pick-ups, and tour day in Nairobi; and the Tribe with its great staff, ambiance, safety and cleanliness (plus yummy food) we genuinely looked forward to returning between adventures. The Tribe held our larger luggages during the adventures and Jeff’s dependability made us feel safe, comfortable and welcome. Even when we were running predictably late Jeff kindly ensured we made each flight, and were never stranded nor confused with where to go or what to do at the airport (for pick-ups and drop-offs). The Tribe was a hit. As for Jeff, if you're visiting Nairobi and want a driver who will go above and beyond to make things smooth he is the person you want.

Staff were amazing! We stayed there 3 times a various points throughout our safaris & travels and couldn’t have been happier! It was through this hotel that we met Jeff, our indispensable driver. He was nothing short of a blessing. He took amazing care of us during our day trip around Nairobi & our endless trips to & from the airports for our Kenya & Tanzania adventures. If you go to Nairobi and need a driver ask for Jeff.
