We have been to several all inclusive resorts. This resort was clean, well maintained and well staffed. The negatives are it's huge over 800 rms and a mile long from the Riviera resort to the Palace resort. Ok so really big, they have a cool dbl decker bus but it was running every 30 min when we we're there, it was faster to walk. As far as check in we emailed 2 wks prior that we would be checking in early and wanted to check in early. All other emails answered about the salon, photographer and events, yet radio silent when we asked for an early checkin. We were told our room would be ready at 3 😕. We walked down to the room we were told we were getting, it was ready, per cleaning staff. Went back to the front desk, notified them and were questioned then they called the cleaning staff verified and were allowed to check in at 1:30ish. Waited several hrs which is why we decided to check ourselves.
We also noted multiple times it was our anniversary. 0 recognition, nothing special was done. We got strawberries for visiting the resort?!?
The food was meh.... Lots of choices, he steaks grilled to order was a pleasant surprise. Food was not well seasoned. The reservation restaurants were great though.
I sat outside several times in the morning for breakfast and had to ask for water, silverware and salt/pepper, basically someone to wait on me.
Overall the resort is clean, lots of seating, lots of staff, snorkeling is OK and yes the ladder off the dock is tretchorious, very slanted
