We stayed at Loreto Bay on a Friday night, and the hotel had been rented for a graduation celebration. There was live music, which made the evening especially fun and enjoyable. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and the food was absolutely delicious. The property’s proximity to the beach is another major advantage and makes the stay even more relaxing. The service we have received during our recent visits has consistently been excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome. We have truly enjoyed our experiences here and will definitely continue visiting Loreto Bay in the future.

Venimos por primera vez hace 23 años y quedamos encantados.. no habíamos regresado hasta el año pasado en 2025, y ahora esta semana julio de 2026 y con mucho pesar ya no regresaremos, el hotel ha venido decayendo sobre todo en mantenimiento, nos dieron una habitación que estuvimos esperando funcionsra el aire pero lo reportamos y llegaron a decirnos que no servía, volvimos a empacar todo y en la nueva habitación pasamos dos días y salían cucarachas aunque nos dijeron que acababan de fumigar. Pero en general todo se ve desgastado y viejo, es la misma decoración y blancos de hace 23 años y lo mas valioso qué tiene es el personal desde la@srita de recepción, el joven bellboy Manuel y todos muy amables y se esfuerzan por dar un excelente servicio a pesar de que el hotel no ayuda y no le han invertido en mejoras y mantenimiento en años.. es un pesar porque realmente es un hotel hermoso y playa hermosa.. ojala los dueños leyeran y rescataran ese hermoso lugar.

Siento que la atención del personal de cocina principalmente (restaurant) deja mucho que desear, poco atentos y me cobraron de más sin siquiera explicarme por qué.

Habitaciones amplias y limpias, buena ubicación y comida

Excelente hotel y sus amenidades, solo tener un poco de paciencia con el check in es algo lento pero fuera de este tema, EXCELENTE HOTEL y personal muy atento y amable

On prior years' visits, the experience was much better. Unfortunately, the hotel has deteriorated this from the smaller to bigger aspects: prices have increased, service decreased e.g. no drinking water in the deluxe room, restaurant food not good/over priced, they allowed a very loud high school graduation party in the central area, which was bad enough on a Friday evening, but instead of ending at 11 pm it went past 1 am (many guests complained), and the reservations department was unfriendly and not service oriented. Sad because this was my go-to hotel in Loreto, but I do not expect to return again...

Room ok, AC ok, staff ok, but the amenities awful, the pool was dirty, the outside of pool walking area section of concrete broken, really disappointed

Maybe due to low season, but the restaurant service can improve. BUT the ware nice not disrespectful, just tooooooo slow, food was OK, prices as expected

I rarely leave negative reviews, but people deserve to know what to expect before booking at Loreto Bay Golf Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We were first given keys to a room that was literally flooded with water. After returning to the front desk, we were handed keys to another room and told to "go check if you like it." The key didn't even work, so we had to go back again for another one. Instead of staff verifying the room was ready, we were expected to do it ourselves. The property has incredible potential, but it desperately needs major maintenance and renovation. Everywhere you look there are signs of neglect. The concrete walkways are stained with black tar and gum, the facilities are worn down, and the entire property feels like it's been left behind. The room was disappointing. The mini refrigerator didn't actually refrigerate anything—we were told it had no Freon and only kept items at room temperature. The television looked like a tiny 19-inch TV from decades ago. Housekeeping wasn't much better. We found coffee stains on the headboard when we checked in, and a dirty wet cleaning rag was left in the bathroom, making the entire room smell like mildew. To top it all off, that evening we discovered a huge cockroach in the shower.The advertised Wi-Fi was essentially nonexistent. Despite being told there was internet service throughout the property, we could never get a usable signal during our stay. The recreation areas were equal

El personal fue muy amable y atento, entiendo que es un hotel viejo pero las habitaciones estaban muy sucias. Cabellos en las camas y pedazos de fruta aplastada en el piso.

The first room they gave us, the bathroom was nasty, took the issue either way the manager, he couldn’t care less, just gave us another room (Manager Carlos). The hotel needs much upkeep, everything is very old no maintenance what so ever, the staff tryied their best to help us, but they were understaffed, the manager shined for his absence, never saw him again.
