Dirty and noises

we liked that the property was right near the beach. The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and we got water. They also were able to give us beach chairs and an umbrella. The pool was nice for a dip. There were many restaurants and entertainment options like live music. now for the bad parts, the management needs improvement. There was not enough communication before we arrived to check in, and there was a moment of panic as I thought no one was there to give me access. Eventually, it was resolved, and the manager was very responsive and apologetic after that however, my biggest pet peeve about this place was that there was no hot water in the shower and the drain was clogged. there was really nothing anyone could do about it further the cleaning does not include making the bed, which is really strange although the kitchen and floors would be cleaned. The bed will not be made and linen’s not changed. I probably would stay here again if the price made sense but I think it’s a lovely property. It just needs some extra TLC and attention from management

Alba is the absolute best

First of all thank you Alba the front desk lady for everything specially my daughter’s birthday unforgettable awesome memories and thank you so much for making us feel at home and family.Velas Condos experience was the best hands down love the town and the people there.

Alba is the best!! Another wonderful stay and she makes navigating any and all needs so easy!

Muy Bien cuidado desde el edificio en general, la entrada a recepción, la decoración y la unodad en donde nos hospedamos. Alba, la persona encargada, muy amable y accesible, brindándonos la flexibilidad de recibirnos mucho antes de la hora estandar de entrada. La unidad se ve y se siente como nueva. Lo único con lo que tuvimos problema, es con el agua en la regadera que oscila de fría a caliente por alguna razón, y el agua paró de salir en una ocasión al estar tomando un baño, tal vez no directamente por problemas del condo sino de la ciudad, y regresó al par de horas. La proximidad a la playa y a restaurantes está perfecta! También me encantó que tienen 4 bicicletas, viejitas pero pintorescas "Cruisers" que están accesibles para salir a pasear. Nota: aunque por el momento hay una costrucción adyacente al edificio, no escuchamos ruidos molestos dentro de la unidad y definitivamente nada en la noche.

Velas is a neat little condo, conveniently located close to downtown and right on the beach. The manager, Alba is friendly and helpful. She welcomed us to use the bikes and asked if we needed help with them in any way. We opted to not have housekeeping service during our stay, and Alba assured that we always had any house keeping conveniences such as fresh towels, soap, and toilet paper. She is an excellent host and we will stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay , it was perfect location and near the best food shops ! Sunrises and sunsets in plain view. Really enjoyed the 2 bedroom condo , great for our family of 5 . Thank you for the best hospitality .

Todo está cerca,el ambiente es muy tranquilo

Todo está súper bien la señorita que te atiende en todo momento está al pendiente y si tienes algún inconveniente luego luego te responde o ella misma va y te lo resuelve y todos son super amables

Muy recomendable

El hotel es muy bueno y cómodo pero no dicen que hay una gran construcción Justo a un lado y que aún en día sábado los trabajos empiezan a las 7 am y no se puede descansar después de esa hora y eso dura hasta las 6 pm. Nos dieron la habitación Justo a lado de la construcción y las ventanas del baño y de la habitación dan hacia la construcción lo cual es incómodo pues podrían verte mientras te duchas. Nos quedamos solo una noche y disfrutamos un poco del mar. Pienso que una vez terminen esta construcción el hotel será realmente bueno.

Me gustó mucho la atención de Alba y las camaristas muy atentas y sonrientes , las habitaciones siempre limpias y la ubicación excelente enfrente del mar, mucha seguridad también

Easy access to fishing and diving and a really pleasant town

I liked that the property was walking distance to the beach. However, there was major construction of a new building right next door to our unit - loud construction daily except Sunday.

Although our stay was short it was a terrific one. We will definitely be back. Staff was super friendly and property is clean and well maintained. Allma was amazing to work with on arrangements. Lots of great little restaurants on the street and easily walkable to the downtown for any last minute items you need for the trip.
